Chapter 10: Despair Weekend? _1

"You said you were in deep meditation from last night until noon today?" Long Dangdang asked.

The gap in innate spiritual force was so great that even after the Holy Diversion Spirit Furnace absorbed quite a bit of Long Dangdang's Spiritual Power, the gap between the two was still enormous. Just the spiritual power adding to strength alone rendered Long Kongkong powerless to fight back.

"You wait for me, Long Dangdang!" Long Kongkong collapsed onto the bed, murmuring a few words before falling asleep.

A faint golden light reappeared quietly as he fell asleep, pulling in the elemental energy in heaven and earth towards his body naturally.

In his sleep, Long Kongkong's face relaxed along with the flickering faint golden light around him. His entire being seemed completely at ease.

The following week's study was mostly on basic knowledge, with knights starting body conditioning and mages working on elements comprehension. After a week, Long Dangdang learned and benefited a lot, feeling fulfilled from simultaneously studying Magic and Knight abilities.

Long Kongkong was rather easy-going but still had to memorize some things, otherwise he wouldn't be able to teach his brother. He still had the general knowledge.

As the class monitor for the Knights class, he tried to make some effort, after all, he promised to lead his classmates to success.

He had no feeling for the elements comprehension part in the Mage's class, which wasn't surprising given his inherent talent.

Finally, the weekend arrived.

After school that night, the languid Long Kongkong disappeared, replaced by an energetic him.

"Finally going home! Wonderful. Brother, where are we going to play tomorrow?" Long Kongkong asked excitedly.

Long Dangdang replied with a smile, "We'll talk about it tomorrow. Here are my Magic notes from today. Take them and try to remember them quickly. Don't embarrass me if the teacher asks you something you can't answer. And remember, if you dare to flirt with Ai Xia again, I'll strangle you."

Long Kongkong took the Magic notes and complained innocently, "How did I flirt with her? Don't falsely accuse me."

"Falsely accusing you? What about the breakfast she put on my desk this morning? I had clearly already eaten, it was because of you that I had to eat another meal." Long Dangdang was furious.

Long Kongkong rolled his eyes, "I casually mentioned yesterday that sometimes I don't have time for breakfast before rushing off to class. That simply proves that she is kind-hearted, don't you understand? You could have just not eaten it."

"I..." Long Dangdang wanted to refuse, but he was a bit shy in front of strangers. When he saw Ai Xia's bright eyes, he couldn't bring himself to refuse, and so, he ended up eating double breakfast. As a result, during the elements comprehension class in the morning, all he could feel was the fullness of his stomach.
