This is an analysis by the author, based on what has been published so far. - [Total score: 4☆ stars] [Yet to be revised.] - Screw the Hero is not my first literary work, nor my last. I'm someone who already published some works on webnovel (and on other platforms) some time ago. I can say that I have some experience with maintaining writing quality, frequent updating and the like. However, while I claim all of this, I am still learning. At first, this is my frank attempt to try to improve myself as I write and read people's opinions of my work. Finally, I have to say: I'm not exactly the funniest person in the world. I'm trying to loosen up a little more to make my jokes -- I want to believe they're getting better and better, along with the story development, over the course of my serialization. Now, with that said, let's get to the topics that would interest potential readers: - What ideas do I have for the story? * I try to satirize some topics through the characters' own perspectives. Both the protagonist, Rodiel, and the other deuteragonists that appear in the story. * I have some plans to improve the progression of the chapters, and also the way I work with the characters and the ''comedy''. * I also have some other plans that involve interactions with readers. And yes, you can influence the story as a reader --- some decisions will be up to the readers, through polls that will be taken occasionally. -What are the good points? * The frequency of chapters (1~2 chapters per day --- with the exception of Tuesdays). * The quality of writing, although not something so peculiar or unique (I consider it good, but it's up to the reader). * Character design and the like. -What are the points to be improved? * Although I know some points to be improved over time, I prefer that my readers point out errors in more detail. That way I can improve. Anyway, here are some of the things I plan to tweak: * Quality and timing of jokes. * Some longer chapters (currently 1800 words average). * Quality of writing, which as much as I enjoy it, I might adapt to the perspective of my characters. In retrospect, the quality of the story isn't SPECTACULAR, but it's certainly good. At least, in my opinion, of course. I believe that, through my judgment, the story is worthy of a solid 4 stars. Feel free to share your opinion in the comments and reviews section. I'm completely open to opinions and invite you to read on, and I'll be more than happy to receive constructive criticism. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, okaysuredude.

I'm not really used to writing reviews, but I came here to introduce this to new readers. First of all, I would like to clarify that I liked the work. Screw the Hero has an interesting form of progression and certainly has the potential to become big in the future. There are still many things that could be improved, but they are minimal things that will not interfere with your reading in any way. Second, although there aren't many chapters (at the time of publication there are 12 and I've read them all), the story manages to be quite entertaining. The action scenes are very detailed, which is a plus point. The chapter frequency is also good. There are some notable shortcomings, however. Some dialogues just don't convince me. An example of this was that interaction between Rodiel and Qiyana, which although it was good in certain parts, weaves some lines that just seemed artificial. This can be worked on better, but I won't go into too much depth. What's more, the relationship of the protagonist, Rodiel, with his father is definitely interesting. Unfortunately, this hasn't been explored much, as I'm writing this. Well, anyway, I must say that the course of the story managed to hook me. The story does have great potential. With a great writing quality, if the author focuses on progressing with Screw the Hero as he spoke, then there is nothing that can stop him from achieving some success. I wish you the best of luck, author. As for new readers, I recommend this work. You can dedicate your time without fear, as it is a very dynamic and fun adventure. Keep up the great work, author! (using BB's gif because the author is apparently addicted)
