Mr. Armstrong

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11th

"Hello, Journey. Where is my son." It was the man Aaron was with. 'That's Aaron's dad?' Journey senses something's wrong with this dude, so she says the first thing that comes to her head. "He went to the barber!" Aaron's dad chuckles low and unsteadily, it creeps Journey out. He makes a few weird steps towards her and leans down so his lips are hovering by her ear, "Tell me now, or you'll be in danger. I know you know." Journeys breath hitches, and she doesn't know what to do. So much trouble has been brought her way since she met Aaron, so is all this worth fighting for? Could she do this for the rest of her life? She thinks she likes Aaron, maybe even love, but could they make this possible? Journey stays silent. "Good news, I already know where he is. My team is taking care of him now," Journey forgets to breath for a second," Bad news is that you're coming with me. Well, bad for you." The man chuckles hard, slapping his leg and everything. He looks messed up, a few gold and silver teeth. He stands tall, but his once sleek-black hair is filled with gray. He has a cane, but he seems to like it under his arm. He finally calms down. "Boys."

Four men in all black come through the first dorm level door, behind Journey. Two grabs each of her arms, and she struggles to leave their grasp. One man gets in front of her, another behind her. The two men holding her arms start moving forward, and Journey starts kicking, biting, and moving rapidly. She started yelling but then they stopped and punched her in the mouth. She lets her body fall, attempting to fall out of their grasp, but she fails. They just start dragging her. It hurts her face since they had just went through the doors and on the hard outside concrete. The air is a deathly cold, and it makes Journey feel extremely vulnerable. Unable to pull back up, she continues to drag on the concrete, the rocks scratching her porcelain skin. They finally reach a van, where they stop. One guy ties Journeys hands together, the other ties her feet. They toss her into the van, Journey wincing in pain at the hard fall. She closes her eyes as they close the back of the van's door.

She starts crying, and feels a hand on her shoulder. She immediately bites the hand, instinctively. "Ouch!" It's Aaron. "Omg, i'm so sorry Aaron." She feels Aaron get up, and he turns on a dim light. His shirt is off, and his hair is damp with sweat. His chest and arms are filled with cuts, and when he sits, she sees that his back is too. "Are you okay Journey?" "Am I okay? Are you okay? You look like a mob attacked you." Journey laughs a little through her tears, trying to lighten the situation. Aaron smiles, "Nope. Something way worse." His smile falters, and he un-does her ties. Her wrists are bruised, and so are her ankles. She hugs him, and his blood mixes with the blood on her shirt. He smells like a hot bath, except with more spice. She meets his forehead with her own, and they look into each other's eyes. Aaron's grey eyes sparkle into her chocolate ones. They just sit there, Journey with her arms around his neck, and Aaron with his arms around her waist. Foreheads touching ever so slightly.

Aaron reaches up and wipes a blood mark off her lips with his thumb, dragging it down. Journeys breathing hitches, and her lips quiver. Aaron leans in, so they are an inch away from each other. Aaron's face shows a hint of a smile, and he rubs his lips onto hers. Journey is scared to breath out, smelling every scent this man has to offer. Journey kisses him back softly, and she starts crying. Not out of pain, but out of happiness. Aaron pushes his lips harder against hers, making her smile as she kisses back. They go on like that for a few minutes. Aaron is about to slide his tongue through when the van abruptly stops. He pulls back, rubbing her face. He whispers, "I love you Journey." He gets up and turns the light off. He slowly puts her ties back on, and puts on his own ties. It's pitch dark, so Journey can't see his expression when she says, "I love you too."

The van door opens, and a group of guys throw Journey and Aaron out the van. The van takes off, and they are surrounded by a forest. "Don't worry Journey, this is the way to my dads... work." Journey knew he wasn't telling the full truth, and felt her heart kind of hurt, but she understands the danger they're in. Aaron grabs her hand and pulls her deep into the forest. It's covered with white frost, but not snow. It's very cold, but has a certain heat to it that makes your brain spin. It's pitch dark, so they continuously trip over things. They finally reach a giant warehouse. Aaron types a number in the padlock, and the 10ft metal door opens. Aaron gives a reassuring smile at Journey, but then she remembers something. "We don't have masks." "There are only 5 or so workers at this private location, so we should be good. They'll give us masks anyway." Journey smiles, and he leads her in the building.

It looks like a normal office, just more cold. It has an eerie look to it. They walk up to a desk with a frail woman behind it. "Hello, we are here to see Caleb." "Caleb w-who," The old lady whispers. Aaron glances at Journey, and she gives him a reassuring look. She'll keep his secret. "Caleb Armstrong." The old lady whispers something into a microphone, and points a shaky finger to the nearby elevator. "Level 10," she says. They walk over to the elevator, and Journey shakes with fear. Caleb Armstrong is known for his sketchy business investments. No one has ever seen the man before, except for the people who work close to him. Not even his clients or normal workers know his face. When they enter, Aaron puts his hand on her shoulder, kissing it. "It'll be okay. He won't hurt you." Journey gulps and nods her head, unsure of how true that is.

The elevator door opens to a large office space, a man sitting with his back faced towards them. "Sit down son. Your girlfriend too." Journey blushes slightly then realizes the situation they are in. She holds his hand tighter, showing that she's brave. They both sit down, and the chair turns around. "You're probably wondering why I kidnapped and attacked my own son, and why I brought his whore with him." Journey looks in disbelief, about to say something, but Caleb cuts her off. "All woman are the same, so shut your pie hole." Aaron is about to speak up when his father also cuts him off. "Now, to why I brought you guys here. What have you told her." "I told her that you had spies, but that's it. And she won't tell anyone, she's loyal to me." Aaron shoots her a quick smile, and she returns it. Caleb chuckles, "Women can't be trusted. But, i'll give her a chance. If she messes up ONCE, off goes her head and on to the black market." He shows a toothy grin, but Aaron looks at Journey with a begging look in his eyes. "I promise Mr. Armstrong, I won't tell another soul. It stays in this room. I won't even talk about it." He slightly nods, liking the way he calls her Mr. Armstrong.

"You are dismissed. My 'spies' will take you back."
