“And take a shower, Kieran!” Liam called out to him. “Throw your dirty socks and undies in the basket by the bathroom door.”

“Yes, sir!” Kieran yelled back at him from the second floor.

Liam chuckled, but slowly, the smile faded from his face as he thought of his family, his father, and all of the people he stood to lose because of this unstoppable love taking over his life.

As she walked through the noisy site, on her way to the trailer office, one of the guys hollered something obscene at her, but quite original. Netty kept her eyes cool, her chin up, and her bosom out.

“So, you’re back, Hernandez,” another guy snickered. “So soon?”
