“You said—”
“I miss you…that’s all.”
Kieran swallowed hard and his heart picked up the pace. He couldn’t hide his physical reaction from Trent’s keen, watchful eyes.
Trent backed up to the door and shut it. Then he locked it. “I know you miss me, too,” he whispered.
Kieran thought of Liam and of the night they’d spent together. His face flushed and he stepped back to his closet. “I have to start getting ready. I have a few—”
“Don’t even try to get away.” Trent stood by the door, with his back to the wall and his arms limp at his side. Though his body language was passive, his eyes were far from it. They were lit with lust. “Why do you tease me like this? Why, Kieran?”
