Baby, It's Christmas

“Simon!” Anna said, a bright smile on her face as Zeke and Simon walked into Zeke’s family home, bearing gifts. “It’s good to see you!”

Simon gasped as he was pulled into a hug. She winked at him when she pulled away. “You look very good. I’m glad.”

“Of course.” Zeke said as he hugged his mother. “I have been taking care of him.”

“Is that what we’re calling it now?” Anna murmured. Simon laughed at Zeke as he blushed.

“Mom, stop.” Zeke said, rolling his eyes. “Just…stop it.”

She ruffled his hair. “Promise you’ll visit more and I’ll consider it.”

Zeke rolled his eyes. “Blackmail, mom? On Christmas, no less.”

Simon poked him in the side. “Be nice…”

Anna grinned. “Bella was right. This is adorable. Simon already has you…”

Zeke walked further into the house; leaving Simon alone with Anna. She smiled warmly at Simon. “So are you visiting or…?”

“Oh, I’m staying.” Simon said, looking towards the hallway Zeke disappeared through. “For as long as he’d have me.”
