To be more precise, Machu was the bravest man on earth right now. Despite knowing Airen's past he still dared to approach her. No one else on the entire planet dared to pursue her especially when she's holding a gun.
If it weren't for Airen's good feelings towards Machu, he would have been long shot by now. "Piss off," said Airen shoving him aside before exiting the cake shop.
Machu followed her out and decided to act shamelessly. "Miss Airen, you have no choice but to take responsibility for me," he said walking beside her with a sly smile.
Airen who looked like she had just heard the funniest joke of the year asked, "Why is that?" with a slight frown on her face.
