An Yao didn't know how long she had been wandering in the woods, but she finally confirmed that she had escaped from Gu Di’er. She gasped for breath and sighed with relief, sitting down on a stone to rest.
Dizzy and blurry-eyed, the trees in front of her seemed like overlapping shadows. She touched her still-feverish forehead.
“Master, the system store has cold and fever medicine. Do you want to exchange for a bottle?” 007 said with concern.
“No need, it's not the right time yet. I don't know if that antagonist snake followed me.” An Yao's heart still trembled, and she looked towards the woods behind her. Once she was certain that Gu Di’er hadn't changed his mind halfway and come back to catch her, the heavy stone in her heart finally fell.
That snake was truly terrifying; she had almost lost her innocence. Even if it earned her points, it couldn't soothe the pain.
“I'll go try to tame other cubs for now,” she mumbled to herself.
