Chapter 6

Xavier's POV

" Dazz baby, why are you so upset. You know right that I only love you. Come on now stop pouting or I'll kiss you right here" The man said

The girl in front of the man blushed and hit his shoulder jokingly

"Shut up Xavier" she mumbled

"You think I am kidding?" He raised his brows in amusement

She pulled her tongue out teasing him

He pulled her towards him and crashed his lips

I woke up sweating "not again " I groan and leaned back my head

I look at the time it's 7.30 am

I did my morning routine and went to my car

"Good morning Mr Martin" Ian greeted me

"Morning Ian, please call me Xavier. How many time do I have to tell you" I told him on which he nods his head

We drove off to my office. I made my way to my office. "Good Morning Mr Martin, here is your coffee" My secretary Cherry  greeted me

Cherry always tries to flirt with me which obviously I ignore because to me my work is everything. I am not the kind of man who does one nightstand.

She good at what she does and that's why she is still here. Or else I would have thrown her out of my office till now

" What's my schedule today?" I asked ignoring her

"Sir you don't have any meeting till 12 after that you have lunch with Mr Ken Adams and at 3 you have a meeting with the finance department" she read my schedule

"Okay, you may leave now" I ordered concentrating on the file in front of me

After I finished signing the file, I leaned back head tiredly. I am not able to sleep properly because of those dreams

My cell phone rang. I picked it up without looking at the caller id

"Wassup brother, " my brother's voice rang. A small smile made its way on my face. My brother is a hell of a happy soul

"Nothing Daniel, what happened?," I asked him because it's very surprising he called out of blue.

Since Daniel has his own start-up company he is really busy. He does not call during work hours

" Nothing I just called to inform you that you and I are going to meet at lunch,"  he told me

" Dan, we met yesterday only and I have a meeting during lunch so not possible"

"Cancel the meeting Xavier, I know you can so meet me at the Empire Steak House and by the way, Scarlet is also coming so, I don't want to hear any excuse. See you later brother" he ordered before I could say any further he cut the call

What's with this man now

Why does my heart feel this happy hearing her name

I feel this urge, to hold her

Urghhhh I am going crazy

I called Cherry and told her to cancel my meeting

"Sir, Mr Ken Adams will be leaving tonight to Singapore" she informed

"Okay so reschedule it today after 4, I don't care or cancel it I will deal with him later. You may go now"

Ignoring Scarlet thoughts I buried myself in work.

Time went fast when I look at my watch it was already 1 pm

I fixed my coat and left the office

"Where to Mr Xavier?" Ian questioned

"The Empire steak house please" I informed him

I feel very excited about meeting with Scarlet

This woman is crawling in my head, I just met her yesterday but it feels like I know her from a long time

I don't recall meeting with her before but, her eyes its the most beautiful eyes which held innocence, sadness

Shut up Xavier Martin

Stop thinking about her

Dammit
