I placed the party in the undead-exposed location and left to deal with those who caused this [Event]. The question was, how was I going to confront them? Sure, I could just go there, but I didn't want to die so early in the game at the hands of some [Necromancer].
It was impossible for me to deal with a [Necromancer] since they had undergone their second job advancement, which meant that they were at least Lv. 100, and I was nowhere near that number.
The only way for me to deal with them was by using an outsider's variable.
After I placed the party members in the north, I returned to the guild camp in the south to inform Dalv and ask for the help I needed.
"No. I can't help you with that. The attacking undeads have increased in numbers over the past few days, and I need as much force as possible for the battle," said Dalv.
I knew this would happen, but I wasn't expecting him to deny my offer because of that. The situation between the undead and Aloraz was getting out of control, and the more it got out of hand, the more damage it could cause in the future.
"But I know the Necromancer's location. If we could attack them right now, it would stop the undead from advancing any further."
"I know that, and even if you are telling the truth about their location, it won't change anything. Right now, we're facing a tremendous amount of casualties. I asked many adventurers to come and help us for a better reward, but even that wasn't enough. I can't help you."
This wasn't good for me. If I had known this would happen, I would have quickly gone and killed the Necromancer, but I didn't, since I wanted them to decrease their power before attacking them. Plus, I wanted to level up.
I opened my [Inventory] and took out 10 bottles of C-grade Corrupted Mana Infusing Potion and put them on the ground.
"Asking for help wasn't the only reason I came here. I made some Mana Infusing potions for those who don't have any Mana Skills."
"N-no way. I thought you were a swordsman. But how did you find the required materials for these? Although I don't know anything about alchemy, I know these kinds of potions need many expensive ingredients."
"You don't need to worry about that. I used what I had left."
"When everything calms down, I'll repay you."
"Thank you."
"I thought Mana Infusing Potions were originally blue. Why are these pink?"
"Well, I improvised a little."
"...What are you going to do now?"
Although I was hoping for Dalv to help me in some way, that didn't mean I didn't have any other way to save this city. The only problem was that the "way" was a little harder to pull off.
"I'm going to hunt down some necromancers. Of course, I need some help, and I know who to ask for that."
"… Alright, take this." He threw a piece of paper with some dangling attachments toward me.
I grabbed it and used [Appraisal] to see what I was holding.

I was in shock after I saw the information related to the Scroll.
I looked at Dalv and said, "Are you sure about giving something like this to me?"
"Well, the good thing about being the youngest guild master on the continent and being part of a noble family is that you don't need to worry about money anymore. Just return alive."
"… Fine."
I left Dalv's tent and observed the battlefield from a cliff in the vicinity.
I saw many wounded people sitting in a corner, waiting to be treated, and many who were retreating from the battle. I saw knights and adventurers helping one another for either money or pride. It was a heartwarming scene.
"I really want to be there and level up," I said with a smile.
I left the camping area and entered Aloraz City. The roads were empty, and no life could be felt from the houses. I walked down those roads to Aloraz's Cemetery. I entered the cemetery defenselessly. The tombs of the dead were all over the place, and the light of the dusk couldn't penetrate the thick layer of mist.
After a while of walking, I stumbled upon an old and fragile building that stood out among the tombs of the dead.
I took out one of my bombs from my [Inventory] and threw it toward that building. The fragile building crumbled down easily with a frightening sound. I waited for a response, and I heard one.
"HEY! How dare you destroy my house? You think because no knights are in the city you can do whatever you want? You better fix my house, or I will tell the knights, even if I have to enter that battlefield."
A man appeared from the mist with an angry face. He was no taller than me and had a white beard that covered his neck. One could easily tell that he was old by how he talked and walked.
"Who could have thought that the great Entwine is living in a place like this?"
[ Brass Entwine Used "Skeleton Summon" Skill ]
Undead rose from behind me and held me tightly from my legs to my hands. I was surprised to see Brass's fast reaction after I said his real name.
"Who sent you?" said Entwine.
"No one. I just came to see the only [Necromancer] in the city. After all, we are fighting with the undead."
"I did nothing."
"I know it isn't you who did this. But I know who summoned those undead, and I need your help to confront them."
"And why should I help a man who destroyed my house?" he said, looking suspiciously at me.
"Because the ones who attacked Aloraz are the Nobles of Night."
His look suddenly changed to a shocked state after I named the organization that killed his family.
In my past life, after I joined the Nobles of Night, who had the plan of ruling the world, I fought with Brass and won multiple times. He was one of the most talented among the Necromancers, thanks to his special ability, [Vision Exchange], but that wasn't the case. The problem was me lying to him.
The Nobles of Night were a prestigious organization with a lot of thinking for each of their plans, and they wouldn't care about a rural city like Aloraz. I lied so I could have his help in my plan.
"What makes your words trustworthy?"
"I don't know. All I know is that I need your help to [Save] this city. Can you help me?"
[ Skill "Save & Reset" is currently on Cooldown and cannot be Activated ]
I took out the Sword of Beginning from my [Inventory] and shattered the skeletons behind me with ease since my Sword had a light property.
[ Level Up ]
"… Fine. I'll help you."
"That's all I need."
