-Medical Tent-

After Madame Pomfrey took me to the medical tent she placed me on one of the beds there, and after I sat down she began to cast some spells on me, completely concentrated.

"Hmm, from what I can see you didn't suffer any injuries" Madam Pomfrey said somewhat impressed after casting a quick inspection spell on my body.

"You just used a lot of magic, which consumed your resistance, so at most you'll be tired for a while, but nothing that a good meal and a night's sleep can't solve" she finished, nodding to herself, putting away her wand .

Madam Pomfrey then gave me one last look before leaving to check on the other champions, leaving me alone to rest.

However, my moment of stillness didn't last long as the entrance to the tent was opened, and I could see my friends entering, with them looking around until they saw me, before coming towards me.

"Man, that was amazing!" Anthony exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes! I knew you would do well, but Merlin… that was fantastic!" Sue said, with the others agreeing with her.

My other friends then also started talking about how incredible and cool my confrontation against Hela was, and seeing all of them excited and excited I shook my head with an ironic smile.

"Well, I'm glad to see you guys enjoyed my little show" I joked.

"Enjoyed? Hah, we loved it!" Stephen said.

"Yes, and I'm sure everyone will remember what happened today for a long time" Padma added.

"In fact, maybe what happened on your task will even go down in the history books," Terry began, and then gestured dramatically, "Ethan Night, the 14-year-old boy who defeated and tamed a dragon!"

"That wouldn't be so bad" I said scratching my chin, before looking at them with a playful smile, "And maybe the next Chocolate Frog you buy will have a card from me"

"If that happened it would be a shame" Terry said.

"Why?" Lisa asked confused.

"Because I collect Chocolate Frog cards, and unfortunately I would have to have a card with Ethan's ugly and scary face" he shook his head with a sad look.

"Haha" I laughed dryly, ignoring the other boys' laughter.

"Well, it might be a bad thing for you, but I'm sure someone here would love to have a card with Ethan's face on it" Sue said, looking at the small blonde girl in the group.

And following her gaze, everyone saw Luna who was beside me, quieter than usual.

However, she was quiet and wasn't paying attention to us as her focus was entirely on the miniature Hungarian Horntail that was on the table next to my bed.

"It seems like you liked Mini-Hela" I said, catching her attention.

"Mini-Hela?" she asked tilting her head in confusion.

"Yes, the miniature Hungarian Horntail" I said, taking the little dragon in my hand, "This is a model dragon, which has been transfigured and magically animated, made to look like Hela, and it's small, so Mini-Hela" I explained.

"But who is Hela?" Lisa asked.

"Huh? The Hungarian Horntail obviously" I said as if it was obvious.

"Wait... You named the dragon!?" Michael asked.

"Uhm" I nodded.

"I can't believe it, you're really treating the fiercest dragon in existence like a pet" he threw his hands up in exasperation.

"She's not my pet" I rolled my eyes, "She's my friend"

"That's not much better!" Michael exclaimed, wanting to rub his temples.

"Did you become friends with that dragon?" Luna asked excitedly.

"Yes" I replied.

"Incredible!" and I could see her eyes shining, which made me smile slightly.

'Luna has always loved creatures, both magical and normal, so it's not a surprise that she's so excited about dragons' I thought, before an idea came to my mind, 'Wait, why don't I take her to see the dragons tonight when I go visit them?'

And looking at the little Ravenclaw I saw her playing with Mini-Hela with a happy smile on her face.

And nodding to myself I decided that I would show and introduce Luna to my dragon friends.

And just when I was about to open my mouth to talk to Luna, Bagman's voice sounded all over the place, and I heard him call me, saying that the judges were ready to give my scores.

'Well, I'll talk to her about going to see the dragons later' I sighed, getting up from the bed.

And looking at the other champions I saw that Harry and Fleur were standing as well, and I looked at them with a raised eyebrow before shrugging.

And then I left to go to the enclosure with my friends, Harry, and Fleur following me, leaving only Krum and Madam Pomfrey in the medical tent.

-----------------------------------------------------

-Back to the Enclosure-

As soon as we left the tent my friends returned to their seats in the stands, while Harry and Fleur stayed outside the enclosure.

When I walked in, almost everyone in the stands started applauding and cheering for me, with some people trying to get my attention.

And seeing that most of the people who were applauding me were my friends and colleagues I smiled, waving slightly at them.

I then looked at my family and saw them applauding along with the others, and that made a more affectionate smile appear on my face.

After I stopped in the center of the enclosure, Bagman started talking, causing all the attention to be focused on him, who was next to the judges.

Bagman was talking about my task, talking about it technically and giving his opinion on how I did in this first challenge.

And not so surprisingly he was quite excited, and I could tell that I really impressed him, which considering his personality wasn't that difficult.

"Well, and for starters I'll be the first to give Mr. Night's score!" he said, and then raised his wand.

And from the tip of his wand came a silver ribbon that formed the number 10 in the air, which led to lots of applause and excited exclamations, coming mainly from Hogwarts students.

"And now let's see what our other judges think about the Hogwarts champion's task!" the Bagman said, and then he gestured to Mr. Crouch.

And the old ministry employee said nothing and just raised his wand, showing that his score to me was also 10.

"Wow! A 10 without excitement!" the Bagman said, with the Hogwarts students cheering happily.

The next person to give my score was Headmaster Dumbledore, who like Bagman and Mr. Crouch also gave me a 10, looking at me with a small, proud smile, but I could see the analytical gleam in his eyes.

Soon after, it was Madame Maxime's turn who gave me the fourth 10 of the day, and I could see that the way she looked at me was more respectful than before.

She obviously wasn't happy that a champion from another school was getting so many high scores, but even she couldn't deny that I completed my task spectacularly, like a true champion.

And now that 4 of the 5 judges had already given my scores, all eyes turned to the headmaster of Durmstrang expectantly.

In total I had already gotten 40 points, and I knew that if I got 4 more points I would be in first place in the tournament, since currently the champion with the highest score was Harry, with 43 points.

And actually I didn't care much about these points, since they would only be important in the third task because of the order of entry into the maze, and I didn't see any point in entering it first or last, since thanks to my senses I could find the exit in a few seconds.

But even so, I still looked at Karkaroff, curious about the score he would give me, knowing that he would probably give me a low score because he was biased against the other schools and champions, and because he didn't like me.

Karkaroff who became the target of everyone's attention stared at me while trying to mask the contempt and anger he felt towards me.

He then started to raise his wand, but before he could give my score he stopped.

He felt a chill run down his spine, and looking to the side he noticed that Penny was staring at him with cold, emotionless eyes, which terrified him.

And he realized that his next action could decide whether he would be tortured by the immortal witch or not, and knowing this he with a frown gave me my score.

"7!" and Bagman exclaimed in surprise and a little indignation.

And he wasn't the only one, as everyone looked at Karkaroff and started booing him.

And in the background I could hear someone calling him an "old bitch who looks like a shady emo goat", and that voice sounded strangely similar to my mom's.

"He could have finished the task quickly, but he decided to go back to free the dragon instead of leaving the enclosure, which was very risky" Karkaroff explained, and I couldn't deny that it was a fair point.

But that didn't appease the indignant crowd, and seeing everyone boo and curse Bitcharoff made me smile, which only angered the traitorous Death Eater even more.

'That's a great way to end the first task' I nodded satisfied.

End.
