"I wanted to marry you" Ryu repeated. He figured it was the only way to keep Nori by his side forever. He'd always have someone he could look at and see Aito. Be with and think he was with Aito. Things with Nori were much easier and he had been getting at least 4-5 full hours of sleep. He had also been eating moderately.
But now that he has learned that Aito is very much alive, those plans were buried underground, never to see the light of day.
In Ryu's mind, those improvements were caused by Nori. But in actuality, they were caused by his own mind, occasionally seeing Nori as Aito and then behaving in a normal way.
What Ryu didn't know was that his method was much worse. He wasn't getting any better at all. What if he hadn't seen Aito and he let Nori go? Things will reverse and they might be worse than before.
"Y-You wanted to marry me?" Nori stuttered, astonished. "You really wanted t-to m-marry me?"
Ryu nodded, once again, confirming his own words.
