Ahri's ears perked up at the mention of selling her, a hint of annoyance flashing across her face. "Excuse me? Nine Tailed Fox? Do I really look like some mythical creature to you?" she retorted, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "And as for my tails, they're off-limits. Touch them, and you'll regret it."
The boss laughed, his expression twisted with greed as he eyed Ahri's tails hungrily. "We'll see about that," he sneered, his grip tightening on his weapon as he advanced towards her.
Sasuke watched the exchange with a mixture of annoyance and resignation. He had hoped to avoid getting involved in any unnecessary conflicts, but it seemed fate had other plans for him.
With a sigh, he turned his attention back to the approaching bandits, his sword held at the ready as he prepared to defend himself. He may not be inclined to help Ahri, but he wasn't about to let himself be taken down by a group of petty thieves either.
As the bandits closed in, Sasuke moved with practiced ease, his movements precise and efficient as he dispatched them one by one. His sword flashed in the air, cutting through the air with deadly accuracy as he fended off their attacks with ease.
They were not that strong, theses armor are meaningless for him.
Blood was flying everywhere, leaving nothing but a scarlet landscape.
Meanwhile, Ahri danced around the battlefield with grace and agility, her orbs of energy crackling with power as she dispatched the remaining bandits with ease. Despite her earlier defeat, She was very strong, she couldn't know the eyes of an Uchiha after all.
Sasuke looked at Ahri out of the corner of his eye, he could even see a kind of energy leaving the bodies of these people. Is that what she wanted to do to him? He will be fine without it.
Aside from that, he had to admit she has dangerous physical prowess, he even thinks she's close to his level. But, no one knows him in this world, at least his eyes are not known to anyone.
In the end, the bandits were no match for Sasuke and Ahri's combined might, their bodies littering the forest floor as the last of them fell. With a triumphant smirk, Ahri turned to face Sasuke, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she addressed him.
"Well, that was fun," she remarked, her voice tinged with amusement. "I must say, you're not half bad in a fight. That illusion on me was strong, it's nasty you know~?"
Sasuke's expression remained impassive as he sheathed his sword, his eyes flickering to Ahri's tails for a moment before returning to her face. "Don't get too comfortable," he warned, his voice cold and stern. "This doesn't change anything between us."
Ahri shrugged, her playful demeanor returning as she flashed him a grin. "Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?" she teased, her tail swishing behind her in amusement.
Ahri had restored her power thanks to the essence of these Noxian soldiers, but her eyes remained fixed on the energy released by this man.
These days, she was reluctant to hunt. She limited her consumption but despite everything, her nature easily caught up with her. She just took the essentials to satisfy herself, she didn't kill as many people as before.
But this man really gave her a crazy desire, this energy was too pure for her. Furthermore, she remained curious about the man's emotions. He was not afraid of her, negative emotions were present deep inside him accompanied by a soft light.
He won't refuse a piece if I ask very nicely, will he? He's different from the others, maybe he'll accept, right?
Ahri couldn't resist the temptation to satisfy her curiosity. With a playful smile, she approached Sasuke, her tails swaying behind her in anticipation.
"You know, handsome," she began, her voice laced with mischief as she circled around him, "I couldn't help but notice that unique energy of yours. It's... fascinating, to say the least."
Sasuke tensed slightly as Ahri drew closer, her presence sending a shiver down his spine. He had hoped to avoid any further entanglements with her, but it seemed fate had other plans.
"What do you want, Fox girl ?" he asked, his voice cold and detached as he regarded her warily. He had no intention of letting his guard down, not after what had happened earlier.
Ahri chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she met his gaze. "Oh, nothing much," she replied casually, though her playful demeanor betrayed her true intentions. "I was just wondering if you'd be willing to share a bit of that energy with me. You know, I can be very useful~! "
Sasuke's eyes narrowed at the request, his suspicions growing as he considered her words. He knew better than to trust her, especially after what she had tried to do to him earlier.
It would be stupid to let a stranger he just fought with take his energy, is she crazy? Whatever her usefulness, he didn't trust this person at all.
"So I'm supposed to say "Yes, with pleasure" to let my soul be devoured? No, thanks " he sais, his voice tinged with sarcasm. He had no reason to help her, especially considering their past interactions. What an insane request...
Ahri grinned, her eyes alight with mischief as she leaned in closer to him. "Because, handsome, I promise it'll be worth your while," she whispered, her breath warm against his ear. "Trust me, you won't regret it." Her hand caressed Sasuke's cheek gently.
Sasuke slapped her hand as he backed away, his right Sharingan activating in anger. She tried to use this thing or whatever it is again, he felt momentary attraction to this woman. Good thing, he's an Uchiha.
Ahri recoiled slightly at the sudden movement, her playful demeanor faltering for a moment as she registered the man's anger. She hadn't expected him to react so violently, but she couldn't deny the thrill of fear that surged through her at the sight of his eyes.
"Hey, no need to get so worked up, handsome," she said, her tone slightly more subdued as she took a step back. "I was just offering to help. You're the one who's being tense here."
Sasuke's eyes blazed with intensity as he glared at Ahri, his hand still poised to strike if necessary. She really espect him to just say yes ? Is he the one who's strange or she is the problem here ? It's the first time he see someone as weird.
"I don't need your help," he replied coldly, his voice dripping with disdain. "And even if I did, I wouldn't trust someone like you to provide it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have better things to do than waste my time with the likes of you."
With that, Sasuke turned on his heel and began to walk away, his steps firm and purposeful as he disappeared into the depths of the forest. He had no intention of sticking around to entertain Ahri's antics any longer.
Ahri watched him go with a mixture of frustration and amusement, her eyes narrowing slightly as she considered her next move. She had expected him to refuse her offer, but she hadn't anticipated him reacting so harshly.
"Fine, be that way," she muttered under her breath, a slight pout forming on her lips as she folded her arms across her chest. "But mark my words, handsome, you'll come crawling back to me eventually. And when you do, I'll be ready."
"Of course, I also once dreamed of becoming Hokage" he said with sarcasm, this woman is really weird.
With one last lingering glance in Sasuke's direction, Ahri crossed her arms in a bit of annoyance, her tails swaying behind her in irritation. She may not have gotten what she wanted this time, but she was nothing if not persistent.
She couldn't hunt this prey, it was the first time she met someone stronger than her but also someone unique like him.
"Don't think I'll let you go, a fox never forgets its prey Hihihi~"
