He wouldn't draw a flag, logo or anything like that. He decided to draw a picture.
Leroy started drawing a raven in the upper half.
The raven seemed to fly toward the person taking the picture.
He drawed a skull instead of a head, then skeletal legs with claws gripping an object.
The object in question seemed like a pitch black ring, Leroy added a bit of detail and one could find the ring to be somewhat similar to his own Vlaric Star Ring.
However it was still not as detailed as to recognize it.
The feathers at the raven's tail were difused as if made of smoke.
Behind the raven he drawed a red full moon, the raven superposed with it.
He then drawed the redish sky that covered the undead realm.
Below the raven, in the horizon, he drawed the silhouette of a large city in pitch black color.
He did this thinking about how he wanted his city to look like in the future.
He then started adding details in silver gray colors, just as he did with the ring.
He made very vague details, not really detailing the city but it was enough for one to recognize some tall core buildings once it was constructed.
He then completed the picture with a vague landscape around the city down to the lowest space in the interface.
He added the silhouette of a few more ravens.
After some time of retouching details the picture was done.
Actually Leroy didn't really mind the design meaning but just tried to do what he liked.
The true value of it would be the power behind that.
A kingdom could have the most beautiful flag but if it wasn't really strong no one would care.
If there was a powerful empire with a silly looking flag, no one would care for the flag itself but for the power that it represented.
He then confirmed the design.
System: Design registered.
-
After that, each town or city under him would have a new flag representing it.
Dry Wood Town for example already had it's own flag, but now it would another one that represented to what power it belonged to.
At the moment it was under the jurisdiction of Sage Town.
Thinking about what his territory would be like, Leroy felt that upgrading Sage Town into a city may not be best choice.
Take a human territory for example, a player could capture a town, but the town's name couldn't be changed.
The town structure and design couldn't be modified to a large degree.
But if a player had a City Building Order, one only had to pay enough money and materials to construct the city.
It would start off as a city and wouldn't need to be upgraded, the player choose the city name himself and plan it's design beforehand.
Altough the undead realm had some different rules, overall, it was very similar to the main continent.
Leroy probably wouldn't even need such a thing as a City Building Order here. He didn't need to pay any more money than materials and salaries to the construction workers.
Sage Town for example wasn't under the jurisdiction of any city, it was located in a relatively remote place.
So if he created a city nearby, there wouldn't be any king or emperor attacking him.
The strongest powers in the nearby area were scattered city lords.
One city with a few towns under it.
Another benefit would be that he could build the city practically wherever he wanted, and could at least move from this remote place a little.
He started suspecting that Vlaric came to the same conclusion back then.
Vlaric entered the undead realm in the area around Sage Town. He constructed the town but as he explored more in the undead realm, he would probably choose another place to develop a territory if he wanted.
This was probably the reason that Sage Town continued to exist and wasn't destroyed by his enemies.
-
After settling things here, he picked up a subordinated and orded him to deliver a letter to Lucian.
In that letter he sent instructions to Lucian to choose a better location to start developing what would be the most important city in the territory.
Sage Town was too remote, the resources un the sorroundings were too litle, the only valuable thing were magic crystals that undead didn't value much.
When Leroy arrived, the town's undeads were level 10 to 30. Any human town would have at least Level 100 npcs there. If Sage Town followed the human standard, it could barely be considered a town.
After sending the messenger along with a dozen knights, Leroy left Dry Wood Town.
-
At the head of the serpent, Leroy rushed to the north. He saw quite a few towns and ruins on his way but he didn't stop to explore, neither did he stop to kill anything.
The undead realm had many things that were greatly valued by players in the main continent, once he established his city here he had to make sure to send undeads to collect them.
What would take a week on foot, only took two days with the serpent.
He stopped on a hill and looked at the landscape in front of him.
Once a large necropolis, only ruins remained.
The walls were 95% destroyed, the buildings were either destroyed or in a bad shape, some were already buried in the ground.
Leroy wasn't surprised but still felt disappointed. If the Necropolis still remained, he may be able to learn something about fallen angels even at a high price.
But now there was practically no chance.
Sighing, he sent the raven over to take a better look.
From the raven, he could see that the necropolis once had three walls, the outjer wall wich was mostly destroyed, a second inner wall that was in better shape and a much smaller area covered for a totally destroyed wall.
Even so in the most inner area was a palace that in relatively good shape, only a few broken windows, pillars and shattered areas of the walls, it still gave the feeling that it remain standing for many years.
As the raven got closer to the area, dozens lf creatures also came out from inside the temple, they didn't seem to care about the raven tough.
'Ghouls huh?' Leroy could identify them without even looking at their name. The level 60 ghouls were relatively high in level compared to monsters in the area.
All ghouls were special elites, some were even Lords and more keep coming out. At some point came a humanoid creature giving orders to the ghouls.
'A vampire... this is getting interesting' He had never saw a vampire monster before, but he could recognize it as the bloodsuckers were still very popular in human myths.
The ghouls took position around the inner area and started spreading through the ruins.
'They only came out of the palace now, there should be something interesting happening inside' With this tought, he made his way to the necripolis.
It seemed that the ghouls had just came out because of him, if no player got close to this place probably the ghouls wouldn't even exist. This is what Leroy believed as he understood a bit more about games in general.
Some ghouls had already arrived at the outer area when he did. From the raven he could see many vampires but none of them could be considered a threat.
He didn't even unsummoned the mount, but instead rushed to the inner areas, various ghouls inmediatly started chasing him.
Dozens turned in a hundred and a hundred turned in two hundred. Once he arrived to the inner area nearby the palace, he started turning around until almost three hundred ghouls that chased him entered in a specific area.
'Shadow Typhoon'
-4,112,235 Critical Hit!
-4,110,987 Critical Hit!
-4,009,321 Critical Hit!
The typhoon descended and inmediatly dealt devastating damage. Only some level 60 Lords and survived... but they only survived the first attack.
-4,006,433 Critical Hit!
-3,998,923 Critical Hit!
Not a single ghoul survived the attack, the typhoon would strike at least three times.
System: Shadow Typhoon Spell proficiency maxed, upgrading to Tier 2.
He gained a lot of quick exp and most importantly, his spell leveled up.
Leroy summoned a team of raven knights to take the loot and moved to the inner area, more exactly toward the palace.
"Human!" A vampire shouted and showed his fangs before rushing at him.
Vampire (High Lord)
Level: 62
HP:30,500,000/30,500,000
"Bloodsucker" Leroy replied and used the Dark Slash spell.
-1,360,900
-1,400,754
-1,367,327
One after another, eleven attacks landed on the vampire and sent him flying.
The vampire was left heavily injured, just as he was standing up, a fireball and dozens of dark arrows clashed against him.
Unable to react, the vampire died miserably.
At this point seven more vampires came out of the palace and spotted Leroy.
Leroy didn't take any risk and summoned the Twilight Knights.
Some of his spell may have reached the tier 4 standards but his attributes were still lacking.
There was no suspense on the fight, the vampires that managed to react in time inmediatly rushed back to the palace.
Those who didn't died sortly after.
Leroy sent the knights to rush inside while he followed quickly behind.
Inside were quite a few more vampires but it wasn't very populated.
At some point they met a Great Lord but retreated fast seeing the team that came for him.
Leroy continued to run inside until he saw a gathering of vampires outside a large door, he recognized some as the ones that retreated before.
The knights formed a line in front, Leroy drank a potion and his mp increased by a lot.
There were about 30 vampires that also formed, they didn't use weapons but were powerful with their bodies alone.
Leroy gave the command and both teams collided soon after.
'Land of the Dark'
He increased his summons attributes while also attacking, the vampires despite their numerical advantage were still supressed.
Two grand lords among them actually put a good resistance but against ten twilight knights, their outcome was plain to see.
One of them even managed to pass the knights and attack Leroy but he was knocked back with the Shield of Heity into the knights.
The power of a knockback spell was very useful as a defense.
He took a minute to recover and sent a knight inside the door that the vampires were guarding.
Leroy frowned at the aura he sensed an instant before the knight was sent flying back like a bulllet, a red sword in the middle of ut's chest.
The knight lost 1/3 of his health, Leroy approached the door and was surprised at the scene in front.
The doors leaded to the throne room, inside was an opened black coffin and an enchained female.
Pale skin, long white hair and as she raised her head, he could see her crimson red eyes. She seemed young, as most vampires.
Below her was set of arrays that were suppressing her and helping draining her blood into a recipent.
Leroy saw a second vampire in the room and frowned.
"This useless idiots! They can't even deal with a human in such an important occasion. Human you'll regret interrupting me!"
The gold haired vampire had an angry face as he shouted and walked quickly to the intruder.
Leroy inmediatly repared himself to fight.
