Chapter 53: Epilogue 1

Four months had passed since the whole ordeal of the Siegel and Gambino families going down with the exception of Isla.

Since that day, it was an endless string of court hearings and witness testimonies that Isla got through with immense help from Alexander who never left her side at any moment.

It was really hard for her considering it was her own father on the stand.

Richard had refused any visits from Isla since he was arrested but once the case closed and he was sentenced to lifetime of prison, he finally agreed to see Isla for a visit.

Isla thought he'd be angry, he'd call her a foolish girl, a traitor but it wasn't the case.

Richard Gambino had break down in front of her making Isla a crying mess as well since she hadn't ever seen him cry, not even when her mother died, at least not in front of her.
