Chapter 46: In Which It's Revealed

Just as Rolfe along with two other guards dragged Alexander out, heading towards the holding cells in the compound, they stopped halfway when Rolfe made them come to a halt.

"Isn't this so anti-climactic?" Rolfe said with a smug grin on his face.

"What do you mean?" Alexander asked, confused as to why Rolfe was acting all strange.

"You thought you could have everything, the job, boss's favor, hell even an affair with the heiress and you really did have it all for a while there but now you're nothing" Rolfe sneered out and Alexander turned his head a little to look at him.

"You're telling me that you are the one who got jealous and snitched" Alexander confronted she had to stall even though he couldn't care less about who snitched considering he knew it was going to happen sooner or later.
