first, we are Arabs we value Islam for us following the book that was given to us is the holiest mission, by going "liberal" we are destroying our history to follow the "west" and just following something as sicking as the west and their practices don't have any compatibility with our tradition and our book look I am not saying that all western laws are not compatible with our tradition and holy book.

i have not read the book but from what i read from the comments you are pushing every wrong button from the point of view of every Arabian what you are doing is not "better" you are just going against our every teaching and study what you are doing destroys our tradition which is highly valued here what you made in the story will just push the country to rebellion and please if you don't understand politics and what you are doing please stop and delete this bullshit as you will never understand what we Arabians went through we always wanted a strong leader and Saddam was perfect to this day he is a celebrity of a strong leader every young man here in any Arabian country looks up to he is the perfect leader because we Arabians did not see strong leaders for a long time and we are just yearning for one so please stop throwing dirt on his image.
