RYOHEI AND HIS FRIEND

Ryohei was just a normal bookstore worker. He loves watching the people around him, and while doing so, he unconsciously rated them as well. He had his own preference in choosing good people to be treated, until some of them attracted his attention a little bit too much. Yuki, a young man, loved sitting across the bookstore. He was not really paying attention to the store; it was just like a therapy to him. The noisiness he adored was undeniably distracting but he seemed too fine with it. The noticeable Yuki somehow was seen by Ryohei, and from an unlucky incidence, they built an unshaken relationship.

Chapter 28: The Recovery

It felt so surreal. He did not like the emptiness beside him. There should be his lover lying on the untouched side. He disliked the absence of warmth he supposed to perceive ever night, and literally every morning. Ryohei's mumbling to his name was what indicated his presence there, however the blind woke up by himself, feeling depressed and painful.

Yuki put his hand and caressed his side. There was no one. He was still fatigue by yesterday's incident, and he still has not changed his decision to not let Ryohei learn about it, yet he still needed his lover. The sore he endured was the result of the incident, plus he has not eaten since yesterday. A cramping stomach worsened his aching body.

"Oh, you are up!"

There was someone entering the bedroom. Guessing from the voice, Yuki could distinguish the difference between Ryohei's and other person's. Frankly, he never thought Yamato would come to visit them when the man ambushed him yesterday. However, the unexpected guest was his saviour.

"Doctor?"

"Gladly you could say it's me."

The foot steps were getting louder, which meant Yamato was coming to him. The pace was slow, which also meant Yamato might be walking cautiously.

"I'm bringing you food. You must be hungry."

Listening to the action thoroughly, Yuki estimated Yamato has put the food on the bedside drawer and pulled a nearby chair by the bed. He settled down and checked on Yuki.

"How are you, Yuki?"

A heavy sigh escaped from Yuki. What kind of expression would display his devastation the best? Other than Yamato's arrival, the man's failure to shove in his dick into Yuki was another reason for Yuki to be purely grateful. He did not need to clean up the cum ejaculated inside him later on.

Yamato watched Yuki examining his own body.

"Who cleaned me up?" Yuki asked monotonously.

"I did," Yamato raised a hand, but indeed Yuki could not see it. "I hindered Ryohei from entering. So I did everything alone. Don't worry. I have some muscles."

Yuki pursed his lips, contemplating on divulging everything to Ryohei or insisting on keeping it as a confidential secret. Only Yamato happened to find him, hence only Yamato witnessed the real scene.

"Yuki," Yamato's free hand patted on Yuki's head gently, "I won't force you to disclose the incident to Ryohei, but I hope you will soon. I just want you guys to be happy," He combined both Yuki's palms in his grasp, "If you have done telling him, please inform me too. We will report to the police together."

Tears of pure disappointment trickled down his temples. Yuki did not have the courage to confront Ryohei and divulge the matter. It was too infuriating, and he disliked figuring out Ryohei throwing tantrum even though he never saw it.

"I couldn't be more grateful, Doctor," Yuki said in between his sobs, "If only you weren't coming, I couldn't imagine what that devil would do to me."

Yamato evaded from meeting eyes with Yuki. Yuki was blind, yet he could detect whether someone was facing towards him or not. It has just been days of befriending the blind, but to him, Yuki was his special subject. He considered him and Ryohei as precious due to the new hypothesis he has come up.

"Thank you very much for helping me. A lot," Yuki held up his tears, but his body shivered instead, "I'm sorry that you have to see it yesterday. I never thought that devil would come over, and not to forget he has successfully copied Ryohei's habit of returning home."

The sympathy Yamato has been feeling was infinite. He could not express how shocked he was as he arrived, and he even panicked that the man might harm Yuki if he suddenly turned mad.

"Ryohei has been waiting to meet you," Yamato rubbed his wet eyes and cleared his throat. He did not want Yuki to detect he was secretly crying. "Do you want him to enter?"

"Please do, but please stay here as well, Doctor."

Yamato unconsciously widened his eyes. "Me? Staying? But why?"

Yuki's trembling lips tormented Yamato too much. He cupped his mouth, silencing his own sobs and hiccups.

"I just want to meet him for awhile. Then, could you please give any reason so that he will leave the room?"

"May I know why do you want to meet him then?" Yamato asked in stutters.

Yuki surely knew how to find the location of the one talking to him. It felt as if he was really staring at Yamato, thus the doctor quickly turned around to back face the blind. The countenance he wished to avoid for now kept on luring him to look and view.

"I miss him so much."

An ample purpose of meeting, only that the time was limited by Yuki himself. After promising that Ryohei would feed Yuki, Yuki nodded agreeing. Yamato went to the door and called the awaiting Ryohei.

The anxiety portrayed on the countenance of the fiance was unpredictable. Ryohei immediately hugged Yuki as he dashed from the living room to the bed. He yearned to hug Yuki. He used to cuddle Yuki before sleep and whisper him morning wishes on the next day. It has been a routine to both of them, and changing it overnight was impossible. Ryohei buried his face into Yuki's chest.

"Honey," Ryohei sobbed, "I miss you so much. I heard you were sick. Are you feeling better now?

A hand ruffled through Ryohei's hair. Yuki curved a very heart soothing smile. "I'm feeling under weather, but today is much better than yesterday."

"I'm so sorry for returning home late," Ryohei pecked on everywhere on Yuki's face.

And that was the first time Yamato just noticed there were hickeys around Yuki's neck. They were at different places, hence Ryohei must realize them while kissing Yuki all over. Yamato cursed to himself for catching the sight of those hickeys during Ryohei was there, but he tried acting calm.

"Dear," Yuki cupped Ryohei's face with his both palms, "I'm having stomach for not eating. Can you feed me?"

What to hope for? Yuki might be unable to figure out the hickeys since his entire body was sore, and what he has been wishing for was Ryohei being there to feed him. Yamato ogled at no one as Ryohei was putting on a cloth as Yuki's bib around Yuki's neck. Definitely he was going to notice the hickeys.

"Yuki, I love you," Ryohei pecked on Yuki's lips, "Please get well soon, okay?"
