Ch. 20 Emotions Rollercoaster

Team ANVL was in team RWBYs common room watching some movies. Ren and Nora sat in comfy armchairs that were pushed together. They were holding hands and were enjoying the time with everyone.

Pyrrha and Weiss took Alabast's sides. Alabast had his arms around Ruby this time, but Pyrrha and Weiss still hugged his arms and put their heads on his shoulder. Weiss had to settle for his arm since she was short standing at 5'3" while Pyrrha was at an even 6'. But Weiss got his tail to also play with.

Yang had made an elevated seat behind the couch they were sitting on using cushions to boost her up a bit. She claimed his ears and hair. She enjoyed taking care of her own hair so she decided to also take care of Alabast's. She liked how he would lean into her hand when she scratched certain spots. He was just like her and Rubys dog Zwei when he gets pets. Yang also passed a brush to Weiss for his tail.

Blake sat by her lonesome in an armchair and hugged a pillow. She was barely focusing on the movies. She was deciding on how and when to talk to Alabast. She made her decision and needed to find the right time to tell him. She didn't want everyone there when she did.

Alabast was enjoying his time with everyone. They would talk about the movie while the movie was playing but nobody minded.

When the time came for Alabast to get ready to meet Ayaka he went to his room alone to change. He didn't want to leave, but he'd rather deal with Ayaka now than to have her be a problem in the future.

He threw on a white tshirt and a black biker jacket on top. A pair of black jeans with a gray wash.

He went back to the other dorm room before he left. He said his good byes and got a few compliments.

He walked outside the dorm building and called Ayaka.

It rang twice and then she picked up.

"Ayaka, where do you want to meet. I'm about to get on a bullhead"

"Hey Alabast! I just finished getting ready for our date. And might I say, you look great from behind"

Alabast turned around and saw her. She had her purple hair down behind her. It was straight and had a silky smooth look to it. She wore a white crop top shirt with a light blue denim jacket that is oversized. It showed off her toned stomach from the front. And she wore dark black pants that cling to her legs.

He hangs up and fully turns around and puts his hands in his pockets.

"Let's get this over with" He says and is ready to use his semblance to swap the air he would breathe at a moments notice.

"So impatient, and shouldn't you be happy to go on a date with someone like me?" Ayaka poses a bit and opens up her jacket to give him a better view.

"Where are we going Ayaka. I'm not amused by whatever you're trying to do" Alabast said while he narrowed his eyes at her.

"Clearly" she said in an annoyed tone. "Let's get going to the bullhead first. I don't want to talk business on an empty stomach"

She walks past Alabast and walks to where the bullheads are. Alabast follows behind, there are students out and about and the pair turn some heads and keep their gaze.

Alabast doesn't like this, it's different from usual. This time is different than when they look at his Faunus features. They're looking at him because of the way he is dressed and looks now. He gets over it quickly though, he imagines the way his girls looked at him. That pleased him and he doesn't care what other people think of him.

They get on the bullhead and stand in silence.

Alabast looks down at Ayaka who is messing with her scroll. "Was it Sienna?"

"Do I need a reason to meet up with my favorite fur-friend?" She grins at Alabast.

He sighs and looks out the window and sees the landscape of the entire area. It was enjoyable and he sees why Ruby enjoyed it so much.

"This is weird. Are you…..happy?" Ayaka puts her scroll away after taking a picture of him. "I don't think I've actually seen you like this. And we spent a decent amount of time together. I must say, I don't mind it" She puts her hands in her jackets pockets and leans to her side with her hip out as she stands facing Alabast at his side.

Alabast doesn't respond to her and puts on his neutral face.

"There's the usual face that I know and love. Still, the other one was ok. But this is more you"

Alabast looks down at Ayaka and sees her having her seductive smile on her face that she uses when she attempts to seduce men. As far as Alabast know she doesn't go farther than tempting men. But he doesn't care what she does.

"Thanks" Alabast doesn't hide his displeasure.

"No need to be like that. We're gonna have some fun" Ayaka says and moves in front of Alabast taking up his view of the window.

"Not that type of fun, dirty boy. A different type of fun. You'll enjoy it. And if it leads to the other type of fun then I won't complain"

Alabast just closes his eyes and sighs. "I can't wait to hear your reason for doing this"

"That's not the only thing you can't wait for" She suggestively says and steps closer to him. It's not too close, but close enough for her to reach out and touch him if she wanted to.

"You're exhausting"

"And I'll make sure to drain you're stamina later then to prove you right"

Alabast just doesn't say anything. She's just going to keep up this act then he won't play along for the time being.

Ayaka turns around and takes her hands out of her pockets and puts them behind her. She slightly bends forwards to see out the window and peers at the ground below.

It's a much longer ride than he remembered. But they eventually land and exit into vale.

Ayaka guides him to a sit down restaurant. They order and get their drinks.

"You aren't very talkative now, but you seemed to be with your 'friends'. Am I not good enough?" Ayaka fake pouts.

"Yes, actually. I'd rather be spending my day with them. I don't want to have to worry about what you would do to them or say about me. I'm only here to hear you out and get rid of you" Alabast bluntly responds.

"Ouch. That almost hurts. Almost" Ayaka takes a drink from her glass and moves her hair behind her ear. "Since you're so impatient I'll tell you why I'm here. The Fang wants its foot in the door for huntsmen. Having huntsmen and huntresses would greatly help the cause. Wouldn't you agree? And if I'm able to get you to come back, well, isn't that the cherry on top? I'm not here to cause any harm or make a scene unless I have to. I don't particularly want to either. Ozpin and Goodwitch give me the dangerous vibes and I'd rather not get on their bad sides"

"Yeah, maybe half of what you said is the truth. If even" Alabast smells bs in the air and calls her out on it.

"Maybe, maybe not. Which half was the truth? I can say that I'm here on a mission for sure. And if I'm after you for pleasure or business doesn't matter since I'm after you either way. And don't worry about your friends. I won't touch them. I don't want the 'Mad-Dog' to tear me to shreds. That doesn't sound like fun. But if he were to tear my clothes to shreds that'd be a different story" Ayaka leans on the table towards Alabast.

"So what's the point of us being here? Why all the way into Vale just to tell me this?" Alabast can think of a few reasons why but wants to hear her answer.

"Isn't that obvious? To spend time with you? We've only seen eachother on business since I never went to base really. I'm here to get to know the real Alabast Noir and show off Ayaka Mika to him in the meantime. It's like a date silly cub" She leans closer to Alabast.

"This is a waste of time" Alabast sighs. He doesn't know what he expected but this was in the general ballpark. Siennas missing her little pet and wants to fill the leash is the most likely scenario. But he doesn't doubt that having huntsmen and huntresses would help the White Fang. If only they had thought about it before resorting to violence. At least not all of the organization was violent. There were portions that used the name but stayed peaceful. It's just that when the leader is a bad apple it ruins the entire batch. But what if Sienna is being played, she may have been bad but did she really seem to be this type of woman.

He was taken out of his thoughts when Ayaka grabbed his hand. He quickly pulled away from her touch and looked at her. "What" He coldly says.

"You were ignoring me and zoning out. I was talking with you and you just shut down" Did Ayaka really care? She's just upset he ignored her.

"So what's the plan? Get to know me? I don't want to be friends with you. We will finish dinner and then I'm gonna go back to Beacon"

"Why are you in such a rush? We came all the way here and I have something fun planned for after this. You'll enjoy it. And don't worry, it's nothing inappropriate….unless you want it to be" She ends her sentence seductively as she looks into his red eye with her purple eyes.

"After today I don't want anything to do with you"

"Fine, but you have to go with me tonight. After that I will keep my contact with you to a minimum. How does that sound? We both get a bit of what we want. We call this a compromise, we both don't get exactly what we want but it's close enough, right?" Ayaka sits back in her seat and shrugs her shoulders.

"Fine. I'll go with you for tonight. But afterwards you stay as far away as you can"

"It's a deal!" She cheerfully says and reaches her hand out for him to shake. She has an innocent smile on and closes her eyes.

Alabast doesn't want to shake her hand, but if he doesn't she will just say that the deal is off if he doesn't.

He reaches his own hand out and shakes her hand. "Deal". He says not amused by her.

"Great! Get ready for a fantastic Saturday night!" Her smile doesn't fade but she slightly opens her eyes and it gives Alabast a weird feeling. She isn't one to lie, but everyone is capable of it.

He has Bestia Fang and his semblance to defend himself if needed. He has to relax since him being on edge is gonna be worse for him in the long run.

The food comes and they eat. Alabast enjoys the silence since Ayaka is finally done talking. But as soon as she finishes eating she starts talking about herself. How she like Alabast and how she misses the way things used to be. Both with her parents and with him. He's forced to listen to her monologue. She asks him questions about himself and he gives brief answers that are mostly vague.

"Well, you look much better now Alabast"

"Thanks"

"You know, I could have sworn you had more scars on your face and neck"

"You're mistaken"

"No. I don't think I am. Here, take a look at these" Ayaka shows her scroll to Alabast. He sees a picture of him when he was on a mission with her and had his mask on, but it showed his jaw and neck. And then next to it was a picture of him on the bullhead.

"It's impolite to take pictures of somebody without asking for permission first"

"If I asked you what would you have said?"

"No"

"And that's exactly why I didn't ask"

Alabast sighs for what feels like the twentieth time this evening. He finished eating and wipes his mouth with a napkin.

"I'll pay. Now are you gonna tell me where we're going after?"

"Oh? We have a gentleman here. Thank you. And I guess I can give you a hint" She smirks at Alabast. "I hope you don't mind crowded places"

"As long as it's public and I don't go anywhere alone with you it's fine" Alabast gets up and pays for their meal.

The two leave and Alabast walks beside Ayaka. He doesn't fully trust her, but it's not like he can do anything about it. He just wants to go back and see what Blake was acting all weird for. Since the morning she has acted weird. Maybe it's a fur-ball? He smiles lightly at his joke. Maybe Yang is rubbing off on him...maybe a little too much. He hears innuendos in the simplest things. Ayaka also isn't helping with that.

"Damn. You look way sexier when you smile" He hears Ayaka beside him. "And it's not like when you see Blake either. That was just sad, but this. That's just…..Wow"

"Is that a compliment?" Alabast wipes the smile off his face. He didn't even mean to smile, he just got lost in his thoughts a bit.

"Yes it is. Your always hot, but this is different. I can't decide which is better"

"Which" He looks down at Ayaka who has her hands behind her back just above her tail.

"Yeah. The old you or the new you. The old you was cold, distant and mysterious. The new you is almost warm, happier, still mysterious and it's hard to describe in words. But both were good. I'd almost prefer your cold version more. But at least you're talking back now" Ayaka was looking up at the sky that is getting darker and some stars can already be seen.

Ayaka sees the moon and looks at Alabast. "I guess you're like the moon. Shattered but not completely broken. There's something holding you together, and I'm surprised it's holding after your past"

Alabast stares daggers at her.

She holds her hands up. "It's not exactly a well kept secret. You didn't really try and hide your past that well. You wouldn't tell me anything so I dug a few things up. And it's very tragic. But don't worry…..I'm good at keeping secrets" She whispers the last bit as she leans closer to Alabast.

"Congratulations" Alabast looks up to the moon. What did keep him from breaking completely?

"Thank you! It wasn't exactly easy. Even if you weren't trying to hide, there weren't any medical records. So it was mostly what witnesses had to say. Anyway, we can keep walking. It won't start for a while longer, we can be fashionably late" Ayaka turns back down the street a walks.

Alabast wasn't sure when they stopped walking but caught up to her side. His strides were much longer than hers so it only took a few steps.

It was a relaxing walk down the streets, and there was a cool breeze. Ayaka liked to window shop and looked in the many shops windows. She wasn't trying anything and was just talking normally. She wasn't being suggestive, and it seemed she wasn't acting. Alabast just went with it. He knew how she actually was but appreciated her getting off his back.

They soon made their way to a much shadier street that was basically an alley.

"Ayaka?"

"Don't worry, we're almost there" She kept walking down the empty alley. There were very few people. He saw that there was a small line of people up ahead. He heard music in the distance echoing through the alley.

"Ayaka, why?" He walked behind her and had his right hand over his face. Why did she want to go to a club, or whatever this is.

He looked around and noticed that it's almost entirely Faunus. He heard the beat of the song and remembered his last life. He hasn't been to a place like this since he died. It brings back some alright memories. He used to dance as a part-time gig. He was pretty good. But it was also a reason that put a strain on his relationships. He hated his regular job so he decided to do something fun on the side and found dancing enjoyable. But you can only handle so much clubbing before it gets old.

He followed Ayaka to a big stereotypical bouncer. He was 6'4" but was still shorter than Alabast. Ayaka showed the guy some card or paper and he let them in.

When Alabast walked in there were stairs that led down and into a giant room. It was a very crowded and dark place. It was surprisingly clean and the dj had a square helmet on that looked like it was a cartoon Grimm.

The small spotlight that were moving around the room were colored mostly in shades of red. There was a bar in the back and seats along the outside of the dance floor.

"Ready for some fun!" Ayaka was facing him and had her arms raised to her sides and slightly above her shoulders.

Alabast was remembering how he used to enjoy these types of things. People dancing and sweating having a good time. There were always those people that got a little handsy, both male and female. There were bodies on eachother losing their minds to the beat and music.

"Fine" Alabast takes his hands out of his pockets and walks towards Ayaka.

The place was packed with all types of Faunus. Most were on the dance floor but there were also so many sitting down that there weren't any seats open. Alabast didn't know that there were this many Faunus in Vale, and definitely not enough to fill a club like this. But it is a Saturday night so who knows.

He hears 'The Business' start playing. He shook his head and got to Ayaka.

"That's the spirit! Now let's get our groove on! Hope you're ready for a long night!" Ayaka had a huge smile on her face and grabbed his jacket by the open zippers and pulled him to the dance floor. He let her pull him and they made their way through the crowd. It was crowded but people have eachother some breathing room. Not much but some.

Ayaka let him go and turned to face him. She let her denim jacket fall off her shoulders to her elbows and let it hang there. She closed her eyes and started dancing. Alabast looked around him and was reminiscing about his previous life. His mind started moving his body on its own. He hadn't danced in his new life because it was useless and pointless. But his mind hadn't forgotten the moves. It may have been 11 years but his mind was slowly remembering.

The roomed smelled of perfume, cologne, alcohol and of slight body odor from all the sweating. He was dancing with the beat just like everyone else around him while he faced Ayaka. She was short, or it could be said that Alabast towered over most of the other people. He could see over their heads if he stood up as tall as he could but didn't focus on that. His feet were moving and he was feeling like he used to when he got lost in the moment. Yang would love a place like this. He wonders if she knows any great places.

"Oh? The 'Mad-Dog' has some hidden trick?" Ayaka says as she watches Alabast move in front of her. This was completely unexpected. She anticipated that he would either refuse and walk out or he would be shuffling around like a robot or something. But he was moving in fluid motions like it was practiced for years. She laughed and kept dancing, taking it up a notch.

People around saw Alabast dancing and also got more energized to keep dancing. The song had long since changed to something else. Alabast doesn't know the song, but the beat is most important when you dance at a club.

Alabast felt his body heat up as his body moved. He didn't notice since he was getting more lost in the moment. He had a slight smile on his face. The energy in the place was great. There were people around dancing. Ayaka took advantage of his absentmindedness and used the chance to get closer to him and dance with him more closely. Alabast looked down at her dancing and had to admit. Her dancing was good. Her tails moved with her enhancing her movements as they flowed behind her. Her hair was bouncing along with her body. He was on the balls of his feet as he danced but wasn't trying to stand tall, his knees were slightly bent as he moved around in his little pocket of space that Ayaka had combined with hers.

The two danced around eachother. Alabast could smell her perfume, it had a flowery smell to it. But it was quickly overpowered by all the other smells around him. He felt his body completely give in to the atmosphere. He and Ayaka danced in circles. The songs changed and went by along with the time. Alabast was heating up and he noticed it but it wasn't too bad. He ignored it since his aura would take care of it. Alabast would get bumped against, he didn't care since it was a club full of people. He had to be careful of his tail but it was fine so far. It was just behind him and moving with him.

Alabast lost track of time. He felt the blood rush around his body through his veins. And eventually Ayaka pulled him towards the bar since they had been dancing for a while and hadn't had anything to drink.

"This is amazing! You've got some great moves for a war dog Alabast!" Ayaka gets to the crowded bar. Alabast makes some room for himself next to her with only his shoulder able to get any space. He looks down at her. "You're not so bad for such a mischievous fox!" He had to talk loudly over the music and people around.

"What'll it be for you two?" The bartender who had a black cats tail with a small white bow on it came over. He had a white dress shirt on with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows and a black vest on with a black tie on to contrast his tails tie.

Ayaka orders whatever. And Alabast asks for something virgin.

"Aww! Your no fun!" Ayaka complains. She wants to see what a drunk Alabast is like.

"I'm having enough fun already!" He says.

They get their drinks and sip on them. Alabast's was fruity tasting. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad. It had a unique after taste.

Ayaka downs whatever she had and slams the glass onto the bar. "Ohhh! That tasted great!"

Alabast finishes his soon after and puts his glass back down. They paid the bartender and went back to the dance floor.

Ayaka led them back into the sea of people. It's only gotten more crowded as time went on. Alabast felt his body temperature go back down after the drink. He would normally feel sore or tired after dancing for so long in his past life but he doesn't even feel it. Ayaka ties her jacket around her waist securely. She reveals her tank top fully and continues dancing. Alabast opens his biker jacket more so his body heat can escape more.

He feels great and wonders if Blake would ever go here with him in the future, even if it's as friends. This doesn't seem like Ruby's kind of tea, and Weiss probably likes concerts more. Pyrrha would probably enjoy something like this or just dancing in their dorm room together.

Alabast comes back to the dance floor when he hears a remixed version of the song 'S&M'. He sees Ayaka smile and start singing along to it while she gets closer to him. Others had been singing to the music all night long. He heard her voice clearly through everything else. He felt a desire and heat burn within him and he started to dance a bit more suggestively. He also used his darkness to make chains that he wrapped around his knuckles. Others around seemed to enjoy his dancing. He was thinking about what Yang and Weiss would say if they saw him.

His red eyes were glowing with the dark room and red spotlights that were randomly moving around. But if one payed close attention they would see a slight haze in his usually blood red eyes.

Ayaka grabbed his chains and took them from Alabast. He let her have them and continued dancing. She wrapped them around herself as he still held one end. The length kept increasing as she wrapped it around herself.

"I guess thats means you're an 'S'?" Ayaka goes up in front of Alabast and leans close to him.

He tightens the chains and leans forward towards her. "You have no idea you SadoMasochitic woman!"

Ayaka smile quickly grew and her eyes closed slightly. "Oh? Who is this? Did something awake deep within?" She sultrily said.

Alabast said nothing but grabbed the other end of the chain. He combined both ends of the chain so Ayakas movements were restricted but not stopped. Alabast leaned in closer to her face. His eyes now completely hazy. "You have no idea" his voice was deep and struck a chord within Ayaka.

Alabast stood back up but didn't step away. After the song changed he made the chains disappear and they danced together. He hadn't touched her but he would get bumped by those around him so it was inevitable. But he always backed up to his usual distance which has shrunken the more they danced.

Alabast only noticed something was wrong when he was feeling light headed. Another song came on and he tried to form a ribbon but couldn't.

He stopped dancing and looked around. There were so many Faunus around and the room was barely lit up with the red lights. He looked to Ayaka who was smiling and dancing provocatively in front of him. His body continued dancing against his minds wishes. He forced himself not to grab Ayaka and take her somewhere more private. What had she done to him. "What…did you do?!"

"Alabast?! I did nothing! What happened?! You feeling alright?!" She kept dancing and got even closer. They were as close as they could be without actually touching.

"Somethings wrong! We're leaving!" He was able to get some control over his body back. He grabbed her wrist and got off the dance floor.

"What's wrong? Little boys room?" Ayaka asked.

Alabast just kept walking forward. He exited the club and walked down the alley. He felt his body was behaving weirdly. It's like his instincts were hyper active and taking over almost.

He was walking to the Main Street but was pulled back by Ayaka and she threw him down a darker alley with nobody else in sight. The music can still be heard echoing of the buildings walls.

"What's the rush? Gonna run home to your girlfriends and leave me behind? You're such a tease Alabast Noir. I thought we were getting somewhere?" She pushes Alabast against a wall and grabs his collar.

Alabast grabs her wrist and takes it off his collar and spins pinning her to the wall with her wrist as high on the wall as her arm allows.

"What did you do to me! It isn't poison, I would have know!" He leans down and doesn't shout but says it in a dangerous tone. His teeth want to bite into something. He wants to just go wild. And that's not even his battle instincts, it's a diferent more sexual desire that's trying to bring him down. "And aphrodisiac?"

Ayaka smirks and leans forward off the wall towards his face. "Close, my little wolf. But I guess you can call it that. It's something I came up with not too long ago, it does have the effects of an aphrodisiac but it's more than that. It affects your aura. I was honestly surprised you lasted so long. And your chains were still so strong after exposure. Are you a beast or a monster?"

"I'll be glad to show you" He grabs her throat and is about to squeeze.

"Kinky" Ayaka says without resisting. She grabs the left side of his face.

"It's not like it was going to hurt you. Just help you be more honest with yourself. So, how do you feel?" She moves even closer.

Alabast pushes her neck up against the wall forcefully. The wall makes a groaning noise as Ayaka is pushed into it.

"Someone's got a lot of energy, want me to help you release it" Alabast's mind is close to doing just that with it without her saying so. But he's able to stop himself.

He lets her go and backs away. He swats her hand off his face with the back of his hand. He grabs the sides of his head and backs into the opposite wall to Ayaka. He tries going into the darkness, but only his calf's get covered.

"Look at you trying to resist. I don't know if I should be proud of your will, or disappointed in the fact I still wasn't able to pull you in. But the nights still going" She walks towards him.

He sees her swaying her hips as she walks to him. He bangs his head against the wall to stop himself from thinking.

"What's the point Ayaka?! Seriously?! You almost had me fooled there for a while" talking helped him a bit but not much.

"Oh, that was serious. I don't like lying. I'm doing this for myself and you Alabast. Not for anyone else. I want you and since this was my last chance I figured why not. And you can't go back to your girlfriends unless you want to ravage them all night long. And maybe all of tomorrow depending on how lent up you are" Ayaka crouches down in front of him.

"So you weren't acting? Well if you were more like after we left the restaurant I may have gone after you instead of Blake. But you're crazy, so bye" Alabast tries to sink into the darkness some more and is successful…..mostly. Up to his shoulders are covered.

"Well I can't stop you if you're adamant about leaving. Let's do this again Alabast, maybe you can bring some of your girls with you and we can all have some fun"

Alabast is able to sink into his darkness and he disappears from the alley. He reappears in a forest and is on the ground still holding his head. He's breathing heavier. He hears growling and tries to make a blade of darkness but isn't able to. He stands up and makes Bestia fang extend its claws and gets ready for battle. If he needs to release some energy he would gladly. Nothing happens so he takes his jacket off and puts it next to a tree.

He goes charging into the bushes and between the trees and sees a pack of beowolves.

"This works out nicely!"

He goes through them one after the other. He dodged their strikes and then cuts them. He cuts off their arms or paws as they miss him. He moves between the trees and surroundings expertly. He would grab a Beowolf and throw it into another. Alabast didn't feel tired as he fought on. If anything he felt like he had more and more energy. Whatever Ayaka had done to him was clearly too effective.

At one point he retracted the blades and knuckleduster and just punched a Beowolf repeatedly until it just disappeared. He looked at his knuckles and sees that he tore some skin off from punching the bone mask too hard. But it was slowly healing. It's just unfortunate that his aura was tampered. Whatever Ayaka did to him didn't break his aura, just made it so that it doesn't respond to his wishes. It'll heal him, but it's uncertain how fast. It's still his and will protect his aura but it's delayed.

He summons the claws again and sees some Ursa show up. They aren't polite and charge in while the few Beowolves regroup sunder his attack.

The Ursa prove to be much stronger and more durable physically than the Beowolves. But the Beowolf is faster and there are more of them as they have bigger packs.

Alabast has to be more careful but still cuts through the group of Grimm. He shreds the last Beowolf and turns around breathing heavily and his eyes are glowing red in the dark forest. He's slightly hunched over and pulls out his claws from the skull of the Beowolf and walks towards the remaining Ursa. They take a step back after seeing this beast before them. But they quickly charge forward soon after.

Alabast takes care of the Ursa and toys with them. He doesn't want it to end. He's been fighting for a while and is starting to feel himself crashing but he doesn't want to stop. Instead of going for the kill on the Ursa he prolongs the fight by slashing them instead.

He doesn't get slashed, hit or bitten. The only thing that covers him is his sweat and the blood of the Grimm. But the blood of the Grimm begins to turn to black particles and float away into the wind.

As Alabast fights, bigger and stronger Grimm start to move in towards his position. But he feels his aura and semblance coming back under his control. He feels the darkness and the light. They are bigger than before. He feels more in tune with them. He knows how to use the light better and it seems to have had a breakthrough or something. He can form solid shapes and objects with it. They aren't special or big, but it's something he couldn't do before and he didn't expect to be able to do.

When he activated his aura it's black with a thin layer of white just above his skin and clothes. Maybe an inch before it goes black.

He sees a group of Grimm get closer to him and he channels his his semblance int Besti Fangs claws. They grow longer and presumably sharper. The claws turn a bright white but have a dark aura around them. The tips are also black.

When a bigger Ursa with more bone plating over its body charges him he easily jumps over it and slices it from its left leg to its right shoulder. It fall with a thud behind him. There was little to no resistance. He looked at the horde of Grimm in the woods. It's mostly their red eyes. And more than just Beowolves and Ursas. There's nevermores in the trees. A death stalker with its glowing yellow telson. And some King Taijitu, which are the Grimm that resemble giant snakes.

He hacks and slashes until the sun starts to come up. He wasn't able to keep his record of not getting hit for long as there were so many strong Grimm. Or at least stronger than the usual Grimm.

When Alabast sees the sunlight through the canopy of the trees he backs away from the Grimm and sinks into the darkness below him.

He reappears back at his jacket and cancels his aura. He takes a breather and sees the path of his fight leading deeper into the forest. He realizes he was in the Emerald Forest, but deeper than last time he was here for initiation. He grabs his jacket and throws it over his shoulder. He moves himslelf to the cliffside of Beacon that overlooks the forest and walks towards the dorms.

He takes his time walking. His wounds have already healed and his aura is extremely low. He's very tired. After the effects wore off his body got a bit sluggish but it was still good enough to fight. When he could think straight he was furious so he kept fighting. But now he just wanted to get back to his room. His shirt was in tatters and his pants were ripped, almost like the pants peaople pay more for to come ripped new.

He gets some weird looks from the early birds around campus. He gets to his dorm room and takes out his scroll, which miraculously isn't broken. He sees a ton of messages. He opens the door and walks in.

He sees his team and team RWBY inside.
