The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the dense forest as Diana and I prepared for our mission. The air was thick with the scent of pine and earth, and a cool breeze rustled through the trees, whispering secrets of the night. I glanced over at Diana, her dark hair flowing like a river of shadows, her eyes sharp and alert.

"We need to be cautious," I said, my voice low. "There's no telling what we might find out there."

She nodded, her expression resolute. "We'll find them, Sam. We have to."
