Your nightmare

"Who are you?" The priest said touching the cross on Hannah's head.

"Ta..." She paused and screamed when he sprinkled some of the holy water on her. "Ta...."

"Who?"

"My name is Talon, your own nightmare." She bent her head down.

"Where are you from?" The priest asked.

"From the land of the dead" Her voice was deep resembling Talon's voice.

Nina shook her head with disbelief as tears fell from her eyes. She couldn't believe Talon had possessed Hannah.

"From the dead land." The priest nodded. "Who killed you? How did you die?"

"I was killed by Nina and then my whole body dispersed into ashes." She laughed at the end. "And I am back for revenge on my killer."

When Hannah turned to look at Nina, she shrieked in fear.

"You know what I'm going to do to you, Nina?" She asked.

"I'm going to fuck you to death and you will hate yourself for doing this to me." She spat.

The priest turned to Nina. "You killed the demon?"

Nina took a step backward.

The priest stretched his cross on her. "Are you also a demon?"

"N.... Not anymore." She stammered.

"But I can see it in your eyes. You are a demon." The priest sprinkled some of the water on her and she took another step.

"Take her inside. I will perform an exorcism on her after I deal with this one." As soon as the words left his mouth, the Nuns went behind her and grabbed her.

"Wait. I'm not leaving without my friend."

When all the Nuns had left the place, the priest dropped the cross on the table and grabbed Hannah's neck. His once white normal eyes changed into black red eyes and he looked completely terrifying.

He opened his mouth wide and black smoke emerged from Hannah's face into his mouth. Once he was done, Hannah fainted and he left. The priest was nothing but a demon who leeches powers from his people to make himself more powerful.

He took the holy water and walked to where the Nuns had took Nina to. It was a small river where he baptizes people after the exorcism act.

Nina was standing with two Nuns holding her hands.

"Where is my friend?" She asked.

"She is doing fine. This would help you and you'll be completely free. Do you know this priest was the one who saved me from the dark evil that surrounded me?" One of the Nuns asked.

"Keep quiet Rose." The other one snapped.

The priest slowly approached Nina and when he held her head, he shook her inside the water. Once they were inside, he opened his mouth and did the same act he did for Hannah to Nina.

Raising her head up, a small smile was on his lips. "You see, now you're free from the evil."

"Where is Hannah?" Nina asked again.

"She is fine now. Come let me take you to her." Rose held her hand and took her inside the church. They both went upstairs to a room where Hannah was laying asleep.

Looking around Nina saw that all the cross was upside down. She turned to Rose who was staring at the sleeping Hannah.

"Why are all the cross upside? I thought it was supposed to be the other way round?" Nina asked.

"Father Daniel believed it's supposed to be this way." Rose said.

"I need to leave to take my afternoon vows." She bowed her head and left.

Nina saw that the room was dark and walked to the window. Opening the wooden window, her eyes widened as she froze in place. Standing outside the church was Lucifer with the head of Sara.

She gasped and tried to lock the window back but a powerful force held her in place.

"You really think you can run away from me?" In his eyes, Nina could see nothing but hell.

"Go away I do not want you anymore. You can see I already repented from the dark powers." Her wet white clothes was dripping with water.

"We already took the wedding vows. Come out of there and let's go home, Nina." He said.

"Why did you kill her?" Nina asked with tearful eyes.

"Why wouldn't I when she helped you escaped. You really think this church can save you from me?" He was now standing in front of her with two burning wings in his back.

Nina took two steps backward before she began to run away. She opened the door and ran down the corridor but before she could descend the stairs, someone stopped her.

"What is wrong with you?" Rose asked.

"I... I saw Lucifer."

"You mean Satan himself?" Rose was speechless. She followed Nina back to the room but there was no one there.

"Where is he?" Rose asked holding the holy water.

"H... He was standing right here before I ran out of the room." Nina said with fear in her heart.

"For you to be safe here without the evil around you, you'll need to take your vows." Rose said.

"What do you mean?" Nina asked.

"Except you don't want to be here else you would have to join us to stop the evil from coming around you."

Thirty minutes later.

The priest placed the cross on Nina's head and gestured for her to stand up.

"You are now one of us." He smiled.

Rose handed her the uniform and she walked upstairs to wear it. When she saw her reflection on the mirror, she gasped. An upside down cross mark was on her neck.

*Cough*

She turned to Hannah who had woken up from sleep.

"How do you feel?" She asked.

"Why are you dressed like this?" Hannah eyed her from head to toe.

"Father Daniel, he told me the evil would go away permanently if we join them." She touched Hannah's face.

"I am better now," Hannah said. "Why do I feel uncomfortable in this place. I feel like we aren't supposed to be here."

"Then were are we supposed to be because I had an encounter with Lucifer....." She took a deep breath. "He killed Sara and he's planning to take me back to the underworld."

"Maybe this place is better for us. Now that I've taken my vows, he would not come near me."

"And what's this mark on your neck? This is a demonic sign, one found in hell. I have read books about this sign and...."

"Stop overthinking. Let me check if there's any food here for us." Nina stood up and left the room.
