Running from Lucifer

All it took was for her to kill Lucifer which she didn’t want to because he was her biggest nightmare. She was the abused demon girl, he was Lucifer whose very whisper of name was enough to put fear in the people’s mind. After Nina’s parents got killed by some demons, they took her away and trained her as a weapon to take down Lucifer. But her plan is quick to destroy when she was set up by the Elder demons to be Lucifer’s arranged bride. Chaos and challenges would arose as both persons are great rivals. ...Lucifer watched as Nina shook her body profusely on the bed. She has been unconscious for a month now and he was afraid that if he wake up her memory would wipe completely. The only people who could help her now was the Angels. Picking up the dagger from the table, he cut his palm open “I SACRIFICE MY BLOOD TO ANGELS UP IN THE SKY. I ASK TO SUMMON THE ANGEL, GABRIEL, IN HEAVEN. I CALL YE THEE NOW!” Immediately as the words left his mouth, wind swept passed them. It swirled faster and harder almost sweeping Lucifer from ground. After about five minutes later, Gabriel appeared. Standing in it’s place was the leader of Archangels, Gabriel. “How dare you try to summon me even after what happened between us years ago?” Gabriel was fuming with anger. “It’s my wife. She’s hurt and only you can help her.” Lucifer rushed to Nina’s side. “Why do you think I would help you. Do you think I would easily forget what happened between us years ago?” Gabriel closed the distance between them. “How you pushed me from heaven and took away my powers. Listen we can discuss that later but my wife is in danger.” Gabriel observed Nina carefully. “What happened to her?” “There is this man named Talon who has been trying to kill her. Even when I tried to kill him, he hid himself from me completely. Please help her.” Lucifer was surprised at himself that he was the one begging. He was always the prideful Angel. Gabriel studied her from head to toe. He closed his eyes and when he opened them it was completely white. His iris was gone. “The only way is either she kills him herself or, Kira, her daughter enters her mind and kill him completely” Gabriel declared.

The past

Nina entered into the room and saw Hannah searching for something. Her bed was upside down and she had a worried expression.

"Hannah what is it?" Nina asked.

"I..... I left something down here but I couldn't find it." Hannah said, running her hands through her hair.

"What is it you can't find?" She approached Hannah. "Tell me."

"So.... Something.... Like a sketch. I kept it—"

"Hannah what is going on with you? You have been acting strange lately. Tell me..... I am your friend." She placed both hands on her shoulder.

Hannah bit her bottom lip trying to hold back the tears but they overcome her. She fell onto Nina's arms and began to cry continuously.

"You should know I'm always here for you." She patted her shoulder.

Hannah slowly raised her head in tears. She looked into Nina's eyes, speechless.

"I want to hear whatever you have to say. Tell me." She urged her.

Hannah shivered, her warm tears falling on her dress and it slowly absorbed. She looked away, refusing to talk about her past. But no matter how she tries to let go of her past, it always comes hunting her.

Sighing, she gestured her hand to the empty chair at the far end of the room. "I will tell you everything but you should sit down."

Nina took a glance at Hannah one last time before going to sit down to hear what she had to say. She was beyond curious of what happened to her.

Hannah stood up and went to the window to view the garden at the backyard of the house.

"Years ago when my younger sister, Willy was just three, she used to love reading books about witches and other stuff. She turned her room into a gothic mysterious room. My parents never liked what she was changing into so we relocated to a new area. We visited the church a few times to see if Willy would change but she did not." Her voice was low and hesitant. She didn't want to remember her past. But she knew she had to embrace it now.

"There was something different about Willy though. She would never fit in with other children and would rather stay alone. She grew a strong hate towards everyone and everything. Sometimes she would speak to herself that she didn't want to be part of this world." She continued.

"And then one night, I saw her walking towards a well with a newborn baby in her hand. The baby belongs to my aunt. I asked her to stop and then she whispered saying it was part of the plan. She continued walking towards the well and she suddenly threw the baby into the well. When I ran towards her to stop her, I saw the well light up flame on it's own. I knew it was her doing." She thought back to the memory of that night she would never forget.

"I lost sight of the little frail Willy. She was no longer the Willy I knew. She was different. When I talked to my parents about what happened that night, they blamed me for killing the new born baby. I confronted Willy about it but she said nothing. She compelled my parents into believing her and doing the things she say. They believed her and made me suffer." She sniffled the tears.

"A.... And then she killed them. She killed my parents. I saw her feed from my parents brains. I had no other way than to bring the church into this because she has finally gotten what she wanted. The priest came and we planned. W.... We tied her against a chair while she was asleep and locked the room. We bound the room with holy water and the cross."

"Though he warned me to be careful until he was done driving the evil from the house. For two nights, I would hear her scratch the door. Sometimes she would scream and yell while other times she would beg me to let her out. When it got too much, I knew I had to leave. I ran away that night right into Hernia and she took me to the demon house." She ended.

Nina stood up, understanding everything she had said. "And what about the priest? Was he able to drive all the evil from the house?"

"I.... I don't know." Hannah said. "And now I feel guilty in me. When Hernia took me to the demon house I finally understand that Willy was a demon. She was a demon but we couldn't understand her. She stayed alone to protect us from her but we couldn't understand. She could not control her demon and it finally took over her."

She pushed her eyes downwards, remembering all the dreams she had about Willy. She knew she would not be able to get out of this mess. Nina tugged her closer and they hugged each other. A small tear escaped from her eyes as she watched Hannah in pains.

"I will be fine." Hannah said, raising her head.

"So what about Lucifer?" Hannah asked, pulling from Nina. She walked towards the bed and started arranging it carefully.

"Hmm...?" Nina dropped her head, remembering the incident that happened with Lucifer. She saw his hands glowing red.

"You are married to him now. Don't you think you should embrace it already? There is no way out of this, Nina." Hannah said.

"You want me to love Lucifer?" She scoffed. "I can never fall in love with him. He's the evil every parents wants their child to stay away from."

"He likes you." Hannah suddenly said. "If he didn't, he wouldn't have marked you to be by his side forever."

"No." Nina shook her head, not wanting to believe any of it. "He does not. He only marked me to secure his position as the King of hell."

"The more I think about it..... That my life would remain like this forever makes me sick." Not wanting to talk about it again, she opened the door and left.

Suddenly, she heard the loud footsteps of someone. Turning around, she saw Lucifer standing behind her with a warm expression.
