The evil is back

With fear in her body, Nina looked around to see Lucifer standing behind her. His hands were tucked inside his pocket and he had a devilish smile.

"What are you doing here?" Nina asked taking cautious steps away from him but there was no place to go. She could hear screams of people burning in hell.

"To take you home, Nina." He stretched his hand out but she looked away.

"You are the evil Father Daniel is talking about." She brought out her cross and clutched it against her chest.

Lucifer chuckled upon seeing the upside down cross. "You really think this can save you from me?" He took another step closer and Nina could feel her blood boil.

Something came across her mind and she used the cross to stab him in the chest. Immediately as the cross went inside him, everything went normal. She found herself back in the stairs and she breathed in relief.

Meanwhile, Hannah who was on the ground tried to run away from the girl who looked like a monster. The girl dragged her to the darker side of the room and used her long nails to give Hannah some bruises.

"Please don't kill me!" Hannah cried.

The girl lifted her up and threw her down through the window. She was lucky to have landed on soft grass but she fell unconscious and broke her leg.

The next day when a Nun was anointing the whole church from evil, she found Hannah on the ground unconscious.

"Help! Someone help!" She shouted and Nina alongside with other Nuns came to help.

When Nina saw Hannah on the ground, she was shocked and looked up. All the windows were closed and it didn't look as if someone had pushed her down.

They carried her up to her room and treated her wounds. After sometime, she woke up and saw Nina sitting close to her.

"Why did you do that to yourself? Why?" Nina asked with tears. "What if you had died?"

"You really think I did that to myself?" Hannah tried to sit down upright but her leg was badly hurt.

"It might be because of fear." Nina guessed.

"Father Daniel is a ripper demon escaped from hell and he came to cause destruction. He killed his wife and daughter to build this church and now it is haunted by their souls." Hannah explained.

"Impossible!" Nina stood up. "Father Daniel is a man from God and I believe in him. He would never kill anybody."

"Look at the mark on your neck. Look at the cross everywhere. The evil Father Daniel is talking about is in this church and it is him. We should leave immediately before he kill us too."

"Why can't I believe you even when I want to?" Nina spoke.

"Get me that book." Hannah pointed on the table and Nina picked it up for her. She opened the book and handed it to Nina to read. As Nina read the book, her eyes widened with disbelief.

"You believe now?" Hannah asked and Nina became quiet.

"But why will he do something like that to his family?" Nina asked.

"Because he is a ripper demon who has no mercy on humans. He escaped from hell to cause destruction." Hannah spoke.

Just then the door opened and Rose came inside.

"I brought you this to help you with walking." Rose handed the crutches to Nina and she kept it on the side.

"Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate this." Nina smiled.

"It's nothing." She said and left the room.

In the middle of the night when everyone was asleep, Nina woke up with sweats all over her body. She turned to the side and saw Hannah in deep sleep.

Wanting to clear her curiosity concerning Father Daniel, she tiptoed out of the room and went upstairs to the room Hannah talked about. She opened the door slowly but refused to go inside due to fear.

As she looked around the room, she saw a young girl sitting on her mother's thigh. They were covered with blood and were smiling at Nina.

"No! No! No! This is not happening!" She quickly ran downstairs. As she ran, she heard footsteps of the girl and mother.

"Please don't kill me!" She said as she ran. When she reached her room, she tried to open it but it was locked.

"Hannah please open the door from your side! Please!" She cried and banged on the door hard.

"Please I believe you now!" When the door did not open, she looked back and saw footsteps of blood on the ground.

She ran again to another room and she opened it. Entering inside the room, the door locked by itself. She hid under the bed and saw footsteps of blood all over the ground.

"Please." Nina whispered to herself.

"This is why you need me." A voice spoke which she recognized as Lucifer.

"No! I don't need you." She shook her head.

"You see that mark on your neck, it is stopping me from saving you!" The voice was now loud in her ears.

When the voice got too loud, Nina blacked out.

It was already twelve in the morning and Nina was nowhere to be found. Hannah could not walk to find her and she was afraid that something bad might have happened to Nina.

Just then the door opened and she saw Rose enter the room.

"Have you seen Nina?" Hannah asked.

"No." Rose shook her head. "But Father Daniel would soon be here for this morning's anointing."

"Father Daniel is a demon from hell. Listen I want to leave this place to find my friend. Take me out of this evil church." She said.

"The evil is in you again!" The Nun said.

She turned to the other Nun who just entered the room. "Call Father Daniel to perform another exorcism in her. The evil is back."
