The secret of flower bouquet

Antoine busted inside John Riley's office. He made quite an entrance by slamming the door both open and shut and the way he stood in the office was totally out of decorum. John Riley was with his subordinate and hence the whole scene did not quite look sober to John but he knew the reason behind such actions from Antoine. It might not be very pleasant but John was not very sure of scolding Antoine in front a junior. It might make him more angry then he already was and who knows what transpired in a disturb mind and what other actions take place by Antoine in his state of mind so he kept his silence and just dismissed the other person quietly without wasting any further second.

"She is in my office" Antoine said while making an entrance. John instructed the other person to leave and then said to Antoine, "I know. I was told about it earlier only"

"Told? Who told you? Who can tell you? I thought you own the decisions" Antoine yelled in anger.

"I do but I don't own Zeon and it was entirely owner's decision" John answered politely.

"Then you are good for nothing" Antoine blurted out his anger making John respond in fury.

"Mind your tongue young man. Not many have survived with such an attitude in front of me" John threatened Antoine. Antoine knew that John was not only giving threats but he mean them as well. He had done some horrible things in past and Antoine was his crimes witness but that make Antoine a criminal too.

"Oh I do remember that correctly and if I am right, this is the costing day of your bluffs" Antoine said making John losing his calm more than ever.

"Antoine, you better keep you calm. I see no big reason for such an outburst" John said though his teeth. He was really trying his best to keep his calm but failing.

"No reason!!! Have you not been listening? She is in my office, sitting on my chair which by the way you promised me and now you say that you can't. I am sorry am I still overreacting" Antoine remarked.

"Yes. Of course you are. No one has taken anything from you and whatever was promised to you, it is still with you. Jerika has gotten her own space and title but she had no conquered it all over the price of yours" John explained.

"I do not understand" Antoine said in confusion.

"You both share the same title and you will share the same office" John said making Antoine chuckled ironically.

"I am sorry. I just want to check. Am I still in fifth grade sharing my room and my stuff with my sibling?" Antoine said sarcastically.

"Of course not and I can easily prove that. Firstly Jerika is not your sibling and secondly, you can have separate office but I would prefer sharing it" John said to Antoine.

"Why? Does Zeon have shortage of office rooms now? If I can then I will have separate room. I cannot bear another word of insult from Jerika anymore" Antoine told John.

"If you suppose that you can avoid Jerika by locking yourself in a separate office then sure, go for it but I suspect not. Jerika will never leave you alone. She needs to be eliminated" John said while looking away.

"I did try to eliminate her from here but she came back" Antoine said.

"I do not mean from job" Jon said with all seriousness in his tone and Antoine was well aware what he meant.

"Are you totally out of mind? Now who is over-reacting?" Antoine said lowly but with an impact.

"She came back through the upper management, directly by the owner's orders. Do you know how?" John said.

"No I don't" Antoine said after giving it a thought.

"Neither do I but that suggest few certain things about her. She is dangerous, a posing threat and I never let any threat to come to me" John said worryingly.

"She does not know about you" Antoine reassured John.

"It should remain in that way because if does not then my priorities are clear but right now I am more interested in knowing how she gets to the upper management and you should have the same concern" John said.

"You have a purpose making me sharing room with her, don't you?" Antoine asked.

"Keep a close eye on her. We trust no one" John said and Antoine nodded.

Antoine gathered what he needed to do and he decided to follow John's instructions. Antoine was about to leave and was near the door and his hand over the handle when John speaks to warn him.

"Next time when you enter my office, do so by controlling your emotions. I will not tolerate such kind of behavior even again, especially in front of others. People talk. Do you want them to know about our arrangement or what happens if Jerika find out?" John said.

"I will keep that in mind" Antoine said.

Antoine left and John sat back to his chair thinking deeply about Jerika.

Antoine went back to his office where he saw Jerika with her PA, Martin discussing something. Some people were also inside setting Antoine's desk and chair in other side of room. The room is quite big and there was plenty of space even after two big tables. Jerika did not look at even once at Antoine. She had her fun in the morning and now she was more focused on her work. Setting table was not very difficult but Antoine did felt like a second person in his own office. Martin left the office and Jerika was busy with her Mac when Antoine was only pretending to be busy in hi file. He too had work but he was more focused on Jerika who acting too normal like nothing had happened or changed what so ever. Antoine felt stupid. He was not sure what he was doing and how he should proceed. Neither he was able to focus on his job nor on the job did John give to him recently. He was too lost.

It was already lunch time. Jerika's phone rang and she quickly picked it up after looking at the caller id. It was from Daulat. She had been waiting for his call for all day along. She wanted update on Brian's condition but instead of telling Jerika anything, Daulat asked her to come at hospital. Jerika had break time so she could go easily. Jerika packed her stuff and took her phone at last and left in hurry. Antoine was keenly looking at Jerika when she left. He wondered where she might be going. He had chance so he decided to follow her but before he could, she was gone. She left in such a hurry that there was no trace of her left and hence Antoine was left with no other option than to come back to his office as he realized he forget to take his phone along. His phone was right there where he left it. He grabbed it and as he was about to leave, his sight fall on the large bouquet placed on Jerika's table. He looked around to see if anyone was watching him and once he was sure that no eye was on him then he walked to Jerika's table and he saw something hidden in between the flowers. It was a card. He took it out; he knew he was prying so he was careful while looking inside it. He opened the card and read it in his mind.

To my beautiful wife, I will never leave let you go.

He read each word written on card several times and they did not make any sense. When he first saw the bouquet then he thought it was for him but now he was not sure how they can belong to Jerika too. Who was this sender? Is this a mistake or really… Jerika had a secret husband!!!!
