Ruler Of The Abyss

He was an addict, loser and gambler, he had turned his back on his family. That was his life on Earth. After dying he corrected his ways and set out to be a hero through training and courage rather then being an ordinary villager or a useless drunk he wanted to do something with his life. He ended up dying at the hands of his fellow humans. He decided that if he was reborn then he wouldn’t be kind, clearly that didn’t go well. “If the world doesn’t want me to be good then I’ll be the ruler of shadows.” He was an addict, loser and gambler, he had turned his back on his family. Foolish and naive

In the black of night the moon is at its apex, there was a small boy dressed in tight fitting black robes sat in a clearing in a nearby woods. On the horizon a familiar mansion could be seen. There were three taller men likely adults there to stand guard. They all wore a red guards uniform.

Obviously this was Vita and the guards sent to protect him whilst he was out of the boundaries of the Ainsworth house.

Vita spoke softly "I'm going to begin now"

'Abadon how can I maximise the effectiveness of my training I've never had to train my soul before it'll take too much time?'

'As you're a human your soul is innately weak and you have weak bodies with your only redeeming quality being that you can adapt and reproduce very fast. However you are lucky that I am here so I can train your soul by applying a slight pressure that will I'm tease slowly. This will however give you a slight headache that will not end so long as you wish for me to help you. So would you like me to do this or would you like to practice that weak technique that your master Nox has given you?'

'What do you think? Just start applying pressure now.'

This conversation only took a short moment which the guards all assumed was just the five year old trying to remember the technique.

Vita urged the power of shadows shelter, his cultivation technique that Abadon said was good enough for his current level and that if he tried a more advanced technique he may blow up form the input of energy.

A weird kind of energy started to fill Vita's body and settled in his abdomen which was the location of him dantian. This power then flowed through his vein and gave him a powerful feeling. This energy was darkness energy. A glow of darkness appeared around his body like a black hole absorbing all light, blurring the darkness, blurring the surrounding and making the atmosphere solemn.

The moon shone down onto a small boy in black with pale clothes and face, purple eyes shining brightly like a beacon. A clearing in the woods completely untouched by the outside world slowly began to turn into a void where all light was lost.

After his first time cultivating his shadows shelter technique he understood that he was too weak to store all of the within himself yet according to Abadon he had a superb soul likely sue to his past lives increasing his age far beyond the point that should be normal, also his absorption and capacity for shadows was still better then average. He had to play his cards well, and play them as close to the vest as possible. Before revealing even a hint of his talent, he needed to know what the standards of that world where.

How much talent was considered good, how much divided being considered a genius from being labeled as a monster?

Throughout it his training he had indeed become more irritable as Abadon said yet everyone else just assumed it was from lack of sleep. His parents grew worried which was odd for Vita. A new feeling.

They loved him like a child, while his family would consider them nothing more than hosts, like a parasite. Only his father along with his mother would take care of him and worry and try to spend time with him. Darius may have cared yet was only hoping to make a lasting connection so that when Vita became powerful he could help them later on.

With their constant love, affection and care had managed to crack his emotional defensive wall. The more time he spent with them, the more he would consider them part of his real family, not just people that he was leading by the nose.

His mind was constantly filled with worries and only training would alleviate his boredom.

His practice continued like this for some time, after sunrise he would go for a run and other work out methods. During the day he would learn about the local geography and families who were allied and who to avoid, proper etiquette and all other important lessons for the child of a noble family. After these lessons he went into his room where under his request had the windows barred up and all candles removed so as to create a paradise for darkness. Here he cultivated until a guard came to bring him outside when it was night time.

Three months passed.

One day he after his lessons on calligraphy he was told by a messenger to prepare for the arrival of an allied family, the Calvan's a family that focused on Earth magic with brown hair, eyes and toned skin similar to most of the Ainsworth family as both of their families skin was darker due to their natural element.

His hair was rugged and he looked disheveled after cultivating. A large raven was perched on his shoulder, walking through the hallway a large person walked into him and pushed to knock him down little did he know that Vita had an exceedingly strong body so the large person instead was knocked down.

Vita kept on walking.

"You come back here now you servant you are nothing to me!" The large person shouted angrily towards Vita.

"I do not have the time to boost your ego, scram." Vita refused to give them another glance and kept on going, dumbfounding everybody there. Since when did a servant child become so daring and arrogant? To think he'd disregard the faces of so many nobles at once, did this one go nuts?

"You come back here or else I'll have Uncle Darius punish you!" The stuck up boy said.

However, despite his threatening words, Vita continued to walk, not even turning his head to look, completely ignoring them.

"You fucking bastard…" Veins appeared on the forehead of the nobles son who shouted, and he chased after Vita with his fists clenched.

In the midst of taking his second step, the large raven turned its head and the world was filled with darkness, nobody could see their hand even if the were to have it directly in front of their eyes. The large person suddenly snapped his head to his horror three blood red eyes him with a narrowed gaze filled with murderous intention that sent shivers down everyone's spine.

Abadon used his soul link to communicate and gloat with Vita 'simply foolish and naive. To try to compare with us for any kind of power. A soul blessed by centuries, a familiar from the epoch of this world, a body forged from shadows and a greater demons strength'

Vita responded lightly 'there is no doubt that we are stronger yet there is always someone bigger, I am just a weak greater accomplishment of a weak technique I still need much more power and control. But for people of this lesson they're simply asking for trouble'
