Entering the room, Loraine saw that both Alice and Margret were already waiting for her. They had moved to a table, which was filled with various delicacies. Seeing that the one who entered the room was Loraine, Alice stood up and welcomed her, "Sorry for waking you up this early in the morning. But I could not wait. What you told me yesterday got me hyped up and I couldn't wait to discuss it further with both you and Margret."
Hearing this Loraine replied immediately, "No, not at all! I woke up early as well I was actually planning to visit your store to help you search for a location."
Hearing this Alice laughed and said, "That is something that I would expect from you."
Being left out and not knowing what the two were talking about Margret cut in and said, "It is all nice and all, but what is it that you two are so excited about?" She looked over at Alice and said, "Well not that Loraine has come, can you finally tell me what it is you couldn't wait to tell me?"
Looking at Margret, Alice showed a rare smile as she said, "Well our good friend over here came to me yesterday to require my services to find a house."
"Yes, yes I know that. I was the one that recommended you. Go to the point." Margret said irritated.
Chuckling about it, Alice continued, "Haha, I will skip the details than. After we found a suitable house, she came up with another request. She wants to open up a business here in Valencia. But this is not such a store. Do you remember the story that Melissa talked about? The one about visiting a pastries store in The King's City? Our good friend here wants to do the same here in Valencia."
Hearing all this, Margret nodded, before her nodding was accompanied with a smile, "Yes I remember that story. She could not stop talking about all the delicacies that she had. And now I think about it, Valencia is indeed missing such a business. Such a business would definitely be popular in a city like Valencia." Looking over at Loraine she continued with a smile, "Girl, you are even craftier than I had imagined, it would be a great undertaking to have in Valencia."
Hearing all these words and praises, Loraine felt warmth enter his heart. This was her first step in becoming an important player in the city of Valencia. With the help of the two ladies here, she would definitely increase her influence.
"So why is it that you are discussing all this with me?" Margret could not help herself from being curious about this point.
Alice looked at Loraine and then to Margret before saying, "Our friend here is just a new resident into the city. Because of that I think that she would have a bit of difficulties in the beginning. Just like you, I like her attitude and therefore would love to help and even join her in this endeavor. And I expect that you would come up with the same conclusion after hearing all this."
Margret pondered for a moment before nodding her head, "You are as sharp as the first day I met you. That is indeed the case, I am rather interested in this whole idea. If you did not say that just now, I might have even become a competitor." She had an evil grin on her face as she said those last words.
"Well that's all the better that I came to you with this idea as well." Alice said laughing. "So it is decided then. The three of us will now form a new joint venture and start a pastries business here in Valencia."
Both Alice and Margret were looking over to Loraine who kept quite this whole time. She wanted to speak up, but got overpowered by the two in front of her. This time she was certain. No matter what would happen, if she got the backing and support of these two ladies, she would definitely strive in the city.
After thinking for a while, Loraine stood up and extended her hand as she said, "Well, this means the start of a new endeavor in this city."
Haven shook hands with the ladies, Margret cut in, "Now that that is done, we should enjoy our breakfast as we talk about the details."
The other two ladies could not help themselves from laughing and agreeing to what Margret had said.
With that they continued their discussions as they enjoyed the food in front of them.
