Chapter 14: Brewing Trouble

We enjoyed our time in the spa for the next hour or so. Sebastian and Lauren took the opportunity to impress each other by doing backflips and other stunts, while Harper, Henrik and I applauded the duo as we continued relaxing in the bath tubs. The clock chimed signaling the end of our allotted time in the spa.

We separated into the changing rooms to get dressed then reconvened to leave the bath house. The rest of the group retired to their rooms while Sebastian walked me to mine. We found Leonardo sitting in the middle of the dark looking as angry and frustrated as he's ever been.

'Where have you both been?', he questioned us with a gnarl.

'We were at a nearby spa for some down time. Why? Is there something wrong?', Sebastian said and rushed to his father when he noticed the duke didn't look too pleased with himself.

'Everything!'

'What happened?', I asked, concerned.
