Chapter 6

My Blood runs through your Veins

Writers Point of view

The doors of the king's office flew open, and Anima rushed in with a frightened expression on her face. "Where's my mother?" she asks her husband, Alex. Alex stood up from his desk and approached his wife, pulling her close and holding her. "Your mother is in Aliya's room, busy casting a protection spell so that no one can take her," King Alex replies.

Anima felt a slight relief, but her body tensed up again under her husband's embrace. She pulled away from him and says, "He is coming for her, I don't know when, but Aliya told me she saw him," tears streaming down her face. King Alex growled, getting angry at the mention of King Ethan. "He's not coming anywhere near our daughter," he says in his alpha voice. Anima looked up at her husband and saw that his eyes had turned as dark as night. "We don't know when he's coming, but we can't let him take her," she says, soothing her husband's upper arm to calm him down.

As Anima approached the window of the office room, she gazed outside and noticed that it was snowing outside the castle. Overwhelmed by her busy schedule, she had failed to notice the beautiful weather outside. "I did not know that it was snowing," she says out of surprise. King Alex came to stand behind her, embracing her with his arms. He pulled her into a comforting hug. "You just have to take it easy. You are scaring Aliya, and she needs to rest," says King Alex in a soothing voice. He gently kissed Anima on the side of her cheek. "I am just scared to lose her. We tried so long to have a baby, and now that we finally have Aliya, a horrible monster wants to take her away from us," says Anima through her tears. As she watched the snow fall and cover the beautiful garden outside, King Alex held her tight, showing his support and empathy.

Rose walks into the room and both Alex and Anima turn around to look at her. She has a serious expression on her face. "It is done. No one will be able to enter Aliya's room except for us," she says confidently. Alex looks concerned and asks, "Are you sure? I don't want my daughter anywhere near that beast."

Rose nods her head and replies, "I am absolutely sure. The spell is powerful and will keep King Ethan away from Aliya. As long as she stays in that room, she will be safe."

Anima lets out a deep sigh of relief and takes a seat in the nearest chair. "Thank goodness. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to our daughter," she says, looking up at her husband. Alex nods his head in agreement and says, "If he comes for my little girl, I will be ready for him. I will do everything in my power to make sure he doesn't take her from us."

Anima looks at her husband with worry in her eyes. King Ethan is a fearsome creature, the king of the unnatural world. They both know they don't stand a chance against him. But for now, they can protect their daughter from him. They can only hope that the spell will work and keep Aliya safe. Anima knows that her husband will guard their daughter with his life. She just hopes that Aliya will be safe until she is old enough to defend herself and make her own decisions.

As Rose looked at her daughter, she sensed that her daughter had already figured out the truth about King Ethan. But Rose knew that they couldn't keep Aliya hidden from him for long. However, Rose was also aware that her daughter was mistaken about who the real danger was. It was not King Ethan, who was a fair and just ruler, but the Dark One and his army, who were after Aliya and wanted something from her. Rose excused herself from the room and began walking down the hallway, lost in thought. But then she heard her daughter calling out to her, and she stopped in her tracks and turned around to face her. Anima Ferrous accused her of lying to her husband, King Alex, and demanded to know why. Rose cleared her throat and took a deep breath before responding. "I didn't lie to you both to deceive you, my dear daughter," Rose says. "I did it to protect you both from a dangerous and powerful enemy. King Ethan is not our enemy. He is a good a king. The real threat is the Dark One, who has been resurrected and is after Aliya. He wants something from her, and we have to protect her from him at all costs."

Anima was shocked and asked how her mother knew about the Dark One, whom she thought was defeated years ago. Rose explained that the Dark One was not defeated, but only temporarily defeated. He had been biding his time, waiting for the right moment to strike. Now that Aliya had come of age, the Dark One was after her, and they had to be prepared to face him.

Aliya's point of view

Aliya's door slowly creaks open, and Anima enters the room carrying a silver skim board. The room is dimly lit, and Aliya can see the concern etched on her mother's face. Anima places Aliya's supper in front of her and sits down but doesn't say anything. Aliya can feel the tension in the air and smell the fear emanating from her mother.

Despite feeling scared herself, Aliya tries to eat most of her dinner until she's full. Her mother hands her a glass of water and a small purple pill, which Aliya takes, swallowing it down with the water. As her mother kisses her goodnight, Aliya can hear her telling the guard outside her bedroom to keep a watchful eye on her. Anima also instructs the guard that no one is allowed to enter the room except for Aliya's father and grandmother. Aliya can't help but find it odd that there are guards outside her door. She wonders what could have happened to make her family feel like they need protection.

Aliya was feeling extremely sleepy after her mother left. She could barely keep her eyes open and was trying to fight off sleep. In the midst of her drowsiness, she swore she saw Ethan standing beside her bed, holding her hand with a concerned look on his face. Aliya wasn't sure whether it was real or just her imagination. But before she could say anything, she fell into a deep sleep.

She had no idea how long she had been asleep, but she woke up suddenly to her bedroom door slamming shut. The sound was so loud that it jolted her out of her slumber. The room was pitch black, and she couldn't see anything except for a little light that was coming from her open window. When she tried to turn on the night light, it wouldn't work. She was getting more and more anxious by the second.

Then she remembered what her grandmother had told her about how to light something. Aliya held her hand up and spoke the words "open," and to her amazement, there was an instant small flame in her hand. As she got up from the bed, she noticed that her door was wide open. She walked over to her window and looked outside. She saw wolves fighting against something that was on fire. It was a strange sight to behold, and she rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't imagining it. But it was real; the wolves themselves were on fire!

As she tried to focus more on what was happening outside, she noticed a big black wolf that was much bigger than any other wolf she had ever seen, even her father, who was the Alpha. The black wolf was standing in the middle of the field, and it looked like he was leading the other wolves. He noticed Aliya and started to look towards her with his blood-red eyes. She felt a chill run down her spine. Suddenly, she heard someone calling her name. "Aliya," the voice says. She stepped back from the window, feeling frightened and alone. She wondered where everyone was and why she was all by herself.

Aliya's heart pounded in her chest, causing her entire body to tremble with fear as a sudden gust of cold wind brushed against her back. She spun around to see who or what had caused the eerie sensation but found nothing there. Suddenly, a loud crash shattered the silence, causing Aliya to scream in terror as she watched a mysterious object smash through her bedroom window. Her heart racing, she didn't hesitate for a moment as she sprinted towards the door, desperate to escape the danger that lurked in her room. With her hands trembling and the flame in her palm flickering, Aliya struggled to see the castle halfway in the distance. She ran as fast as she could, her heart pounding in her chest, her mind racing with fear and confusion, not daring to look back even once. All she could think of was finding her father or mother and escaping the danger that seemed to be closing in on her.

Aliya had finally made it to the front of the castle. She could feel the cold wind biting against her skin as she approached the entrance, and when she got there, she noticed that the castle's front door was wide open. The wind was blowing fiercely, and Aliya could feel it getting colder as she stepped outside of the castle. However, she was not prepared for what she saw when she exits the castle. Standing before her was a big black wolf, Aliya froze at the sight of him.

The wolf was massive, and Aliya felt tiny in comparison. She could feel her heart beating fast, and her fear was so intense that she thought it would leap out of her chest. She looked up at his glowing red eyes, unable to look away. The wolf was so close that his breath extinguished the flame in her palm. Suddenly, everything turned dark, and Aliya panicked. Her legs began to move involuntarily, and she ran as fast as she could towards the garden where she had been with her grandmother.

As Aliya ran, she heard a man's voice calling her name. It was the same voice she had heard before, but she was too scared to stop. The man tried to tell her to stop running, but she was too frightened because of the wolf. She ran and ran, not caring how cold it was outside. She was running for her life, and eventually, she fell, bruising her knees.

The man didn't say a word. Aliya looked at him while he started to walk toward her. He had bold shoulders and w only wore what looked like sweatpants. He walked toward Aliya until he was in front of her, bent down, sat on his legs in the snow, and looked at her. She finally got her breathing under control. "I am not going to hurt you, Aliya. Like I said before. You don't have to be scared of me? "said the man in front of her; his voice was calm and soothing; it brought peace to her soul, and it took all of the fear out of her what she was feeling towards him. "Then what do you want from me? ask Aliya softly while looking up to him in his blue eyes.

He looked down at her hands what was lying on her lap and took both of her hands into his big warm hands " I need to make you mine, " he started to speak, then looked back at her earnestly in his blue eyes " I have to mark you Aliya … he left out a heavy sigh "They leave me without any choice and you are too young to be marked but I don't have a choice now" he said while looking at Aliya worried "Who says I am yours to take " asked Aliya in a husky voice. She was only 7 years old, and he was a man in his 20s; how could she be his. Her question gave him a small smile at the corner of his mouth. He looked at me, and his eyes started warming up with love. "The moon goddess and faith made you for me Aliya we aren't like any normal supernatural, like your parents, you know ....me and you were made for each other for a purpose, "he said while letting go of my hand. He captured the side of my face with his warm hand." My blood runs through your veins and you are the one I suppose to be with…... you are my queen Aliya "he says warmly; his voice was soothing her and made her, that she closed her eyes. Aliya could feel his warm, soft hand against her cold cheek.

There was so much love she felt from him at that moment. Aliya knew she was safe, and he wouldn't hurt her, but it all was soon over when sudden footsteps of wolves came running towards them, and before she knew it, he Aliya into his bold, strong arms, holding her back against his bare chest that Aliya face her front. He kissed her on the left of her neck, sending chills down her body.

"I am sorry my love, but I have no choice. "Breathe, said Ethan against Aliya's neck. "Take a big breath this is going to hurt my love, "said he warmly against her neck, and before she knew it, he sunk his teeth, canines into Aliya's bare, cold skin making her scream of his bite. He bites deeper into her neck, making Aliya lose her vision, and everything in front of her goes pitch black.
