Yuna is just an average girl living out her boring life in New York City. She goes to school, does her homework, and is a straight-A student. Alongside her high-scoring grades, she is also a star athlete on her school's basketball team. Outside her academic duties, Yuna enjoys writing stories about far away worlds that she believes to actually exist in an alternate timeline. Her dreams are confirmed when she enters her story one day, without warning. But instead of becoming the main character like in all the books she has read, Yuna realizes that she is the villainess of her own story, doomed to be killed by the male lead.
Lynnette was only a young girl when her family died during a deadly plague sent by Katrina, the enemy of the royal family and the ruler of the Kingdom of Silver. Ever since that day, Lynnette hated the royal family and all the nobles for not stopping the plague. Katrina was known for her control over a mysterious sorcerer who did her terrible deeds, wiping entire races off the continent, ripping apart families, leaving lands in ruin. There once was a prophecy of a warrior princess who would be born to a village in the outskirts of the Kingdom of Gold. The warrior princess would be the only one able to possess and utilize the power of the Goddess of Justice, Astrea. All her life, Lynnette believed that the warrior princess would come to save her and her family one day from the terrible Katrina, but that day would never come. Starved to death, Lynnette entered the demon realm, where she met the Demon Goddess, who would revive her if she would do the demon's bidding. Thirsty for revenge, Lynnette agreed, returning to the Kingdom of Gold, seeking revenge on the people who had abandoned all her loved ones to die.
