Chapter 16

My heart rapidly beat in my chest as I ran from him. I felt my body slowing down gradually from exhaustion, but I needed to keep going.

"Dammit, Taisa! Stop running away from me!" He yelled, only making me run faster. I knew that he was close and that there was nothing I could do to stall him for any longer. "Don't make this harder for yourself!" I carried my legs for as long as they could, but the burn intensified by the second.

Before I knew it, large arms snaked around my body, causing me to fly backwards and slam against his chest. He caught me.

"No! Please! Let me go!" I screamed as he held me tightly against him.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that, Princess." He spoke in my ear. "You're coming with me." Fear ran through my blood at his words. As a result, I thrashed in his hold and used all of the energy I had left to fight and search for any last ways out. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I wouldn't do that if I were you, darling." He said calmly.

"Let me go. Please, I will do anything." I begged weakly as my body gave into exhaustion. He took advantage of my weak body and turned me to face him.

Aiden Heart.

"I've missed you." His evil, yet soft voice sounded as he pulled our chests together. "I'm so happy to see your pretty face again." My hands rapidly shook as he cupped my face in his large hands.

"Please, don't do this". I pleaded once more, just nearly above a whisper as tears streamed down my face. He wiped the tears tears away with his thumbs and placed a warm kiss on my forehead.

"I am going to do this, and you're going to be good and follow through with it." He said. I shook my head in complete disbelief of my situation. "If you just listen to me and come with me calmly, I won't have any consequences for you. You're coming with me either way, Princess, so choose wisely." I looked up at him with my sore, wet eyes, staring into his hypnotic ones. I studied them knowing that he had completely trapped me with no way out. "What is it going to be, Princess?" He challenged. I swallowed the lump in my throat, and looked away from him. I was so tired, tired of all of this. It came to me that no matter what I did now, he would have me. I answered his question by going even more limp in his hold, telling him that I had surrendered. "That's it, baby." He cooed. "I told you that I would come for you."

Aiden then walked me out in his arms, taking me as his prisoner.
