Meet Alexandra

A few weeks later, after I have finished my training with our leader, Hengar, and let me tell you, reader, the training is starting to get easier every day. First time when I did the training it was a nightmare because I had to do shooting training and transforming training. At shooting training, I have learned how I can shoot my nails and regenerate them, but this power consumes a ton of energy, so the captain told me it will be alright if I cannot do this ability, but it is important to help me grow up in power and become a supporter which will stay in the back and offer an advantage to my team from distance. And the transformation, it was quite hard at first to transform into a specific part of my body.

I finished the training, and head into the living room of this bunker, where Alexandra is sitting on a comfortable chair and drinks a cup of coffee while she reads "Drip Work". A novel I have given to her to read it because she is curious about modern literature from the internet who has become a book with an author with such a piece of the vast knowledge of the things written there, and also he got inspired by some movies, video games about the things written there, or series about gang wars, Mafia and things like these.

"How is the book?"

"Um... I do not want to be negative, but it is alright. I mean, there are billions of stories written and are not as good as this one, or bad." says Alexandra after she put the book on a table.

"You do not like it, do you?" I ask her.

"Yes. I don't really get the modern literature, I mean, gang wars, aliens, gay vampires. Back then we had these things but written differently and not used fans feedback or, their "recommendation". A book it has to be written from the author soul, not his reader's viewers. But it is alright, I like the Main Character, and also some of the characters, they remind me a lot of some of my ex-colleagues."

"Really?"

"Yes. Anyway, how was the training?" asks Alexandra who is going to throw the book subject out of the way.

"Alright."

"Great to hear it. Did your inner werewolf has started to see me differently?"

"I mean.. Kinda."

"What do you mean by that?"

"No offence. But after I read a chapter from Werewolf history, I think it is safe to say that you two should forget the past."

"I forget it. Your inner wolf is the one who doesn't want to forget it."

"Yes. I tried a few times, but it didn't work. right now he wants it to transform and attack you."

Then, I observed my left-hand has started to become hairy, which means that this dammed wolf was trying to transform while I wasn't paying attention, and I immediately cancelled my transformation by stopping him do it by using my mind. This process has become much easier every time I am closer to Alexandra.

When the hand has come to my normal form, Alexandra looked at my hand, she stands up and then she leaves the room, but before she was about to head out, she asks me.

"Are you ready to go somewhere?"

"Where?" I ask her.

"At your first mission," she responds and this one made me quite shivering because the inner werewolf was most likely upset I will go into a mission with a vampire.

On Saturday morning, in the village from Cicănești, I and Alexandra have arrived in a forest by taking her car, a van which is helping the 5th Hunter Team a lot in some missions from a close distance, because at a far we use portals which will teleport us at the selected destination. Here, in this forest, our mission is to catch criminal witch which she is using her spells to lures a few small kids and uses them to create some sort of animals of the forests.

Apparently, it is illegal in the world I am currently living that the witches interfere in the ecosystem and try to make it better. But there are some witches allowed to do that, and these are the ones who possess Nature Magic, but this criminal we are searching doesnt possess spell like that, more likely transformations ones and other spells which are destroying the humans and create sadness in poor parents who wanted to see the kids grown up as humans, not animals.

We are in the middle of the forest, and searching the witch by using a device called "Wit-Finder", a gadget specially designed to search for witches, not to catch them, because that is our job. While we follow the signal of the gadget, the inner werewolf was talking to me.

"Can you please let me transform and kill the vampire? That might make the witch appear."

"Hell no!" I told to him by using mind. "You are not allowed to transform whenever you wanted it."

"Okay, okay... I just thought this might be a good idea."

"Killing a teammate it is never a good idea." I said to my inner werewolf.

Suddenly, Alexandra stopped me to take another step, and she showed me there are a few humans steps on a path in this forest. I whispered to Alexandra.

"Witch?"

"Probably." she whispered to me.

Then, she handed the gadget to me, and then she suddenly transformed into a bat and start flying around the forest hoping she will find the witch and trying to capture it. She flies into North-West, while I and my inner werewolf we are staying there and waiting for the orders. She didn't tell us what do you, so I think the best decision will be to stay there and wait for her signal.

And after a few minutes, Alexandra came back in her bat size, and she told me.

"False signal. There is some logs thief." she said when she transformed into her human form.

"Okay." I said to her before we continued the searching. "How the witches look like?"

"Have you ever seen witches portrayed by Grimm Brothers?"

"You mean the green ones with a lot of moles around her faces?"

"This type." says Alexandra.

"I see."

Both of us are walking on the path of this forest. We are careful were we are stepping and with our quick reflexes ready because this might be trap planted by the witch which would destroy us or capture us and eat us alive. But, even if she will try to do that, vampire would not die that easily, nor a werewolf.
