Rogue Mate Of The Alpha

"Run, Callie, run!" That was the last thing Callie's mother ever said to her. She ran and never looked back. Ever since then, she's been a rogue, forced to survive alone where her enemies can't find her. But everything changes when shes captured by a pack-and its alpha is her mate. Callie just wants to be near him, but every day there puts her in danger. If her secret is discovered, she will be turned over to her old alpha-who will kill her. Besides, he's already engaged ... *** When my fingers made contact with her cheek, I felt the spark that surged through my entire body. Callie gasped, snapping her jewel eyes to me. Her tongue darted out to wet her lips, and I did everything in my power not to groan. Moon Goddess, I thought, what kind of cruel joke are you playing at?

Let It Out

Callie's POV ...

The tears were blurring my vision as I continued to the lodge. Thankfully Flo didn't follow me even though I had felt her gaze on my back like daggers in my skin. She had succeeded in getting a reaction out of me. That was all she had wanted and now she had left me alone.

My mind was going crazy. I didn't want to believe what she was saying but I also couldn't ignore that her words made logical sense.

What if Alpha Byron was going to take some of Kameron's lands? Would that not leave him vulnerable to attack? What if the decision for us to be together would ensure war within the pack? Would the pack still want me as their Luna?

So many questions swirled in my head that it made me feel dizzy. I was so into my thoughts that I rammed right into someone, sending me flying backward. I landed flat on my bum.

"Callie?" Tim said from above me. "Are you okay?"

I nodded.

He extended his hand to me and I took it gratefully.
