Magic

Mana, a substance in existence whose origin and properties could never be understood despite the advancement in science and technology. Many theories claimed its origin. Some said it was created by God along with this existence, while some said it's the nanoparticles in space. But even though it was something seen only in theory, the miracles it could cause were known far and wide as Magic.

Species like elves could absorb a high quantity of mana naturally, but humans, their potential to absorb mana was limited. And because of this, they struggled for years to survive. But their struggle ended in the late 22nd century when the first prototype of Mana Manipulator (MM) was created.

After analyzing the ancient weapons known to cause miracles, they were able to synthesize this device which could boost the mana absorption rate several-fold. And the people who could use these devices were known as magicians.

Specific magical techniques that magicians can perform are called spells. The spells are divided into several classes based on their use and effect. The classes are Novice < General < Advanced < Senior < Master <Grandmaster < Ultimate.
