As time passed, when I realized it, an entire week had passed and I was yet to leave the room. I wasn't able to lift myself off of the floor with my own two legs, but today was different. Today was the first day I had enough strength to finally stand up and walk around. I saw in my status window the "Malnourishment" debuff vanish and I couldn't help but feel much joy.
What did surprised me was the fact that I had not seen the two people who were the "Parents" of the body I was in right now. The memories of this body were not available for me, and it was indeed a bad thing. I didn't wanted to hurt anyone, but I really needed help at the moment, so I decided to ask them every question I had.
Cain, the buttler, sent word for them to come inside and a few minutes later they arrived at the room. It took me around an hour and a half to fully understand my current situation and comfort them as much as I could. Now, I will proceed to compact this information as much as I can.
First off, my name is Aela. The daughter of a petty noble family that is not going through its best economic situation at the moment. My mother is Anna, a Lady known for her kind and gentle manners along with her skills at diplomacy. My father is Sir Heinrich, a knight that was granted a noble tittle a few years ago after he retired from the King's army.
They both seem to be on their late 40's, and I am 20 Years Old. As a Noble family that was formed from commoners, other Nobles don't really appreciate our existence much more than any other dog on the street. Our family is owner of a decent house and some land, in which a single farm is located.
Just from their explanation and how they speak, I can really tell that they are being honest....For such good people to lose their daughter....I can just pity this situation. I decided to tell them my own situation. Obviously, I didn't told them that I came from another world, since that would just make them think of me as a crazy woman, but I did told them that even if I don't remember anything about them, I will continue to do my best for them to feel as if Aela was always there.
We three promised to keep the lack of memories as the secondary effects of a bad fever, and to try and continue living as they have done now. I spend the next few hours making up my mind with as much resolve as possible, before deciding to explore the house and the lands that were my own.
I put on some clothes I found on the room I was resting at; black cloth pants, a linen blouse and a leather jacket. Along with a pair of leather boots, of course. It appears taht at least Aela shared my same likings towards wearing pants instead of a dress. Although I think I did just because it took less work and were much more comfortable to wear around everywhere.
And just before I made my way out, a semi-transparent window appeared in the middle of the air in front of me.

It was like a menu that came right out of a game. Oh! If you were curious about me, I will have to dissapoint you because I didn't really played much games or read much stories. I usually didn't had enough free time to do so, and right now I really regret not doing so.
It appears that today a lot of information was thrown into my face, and my head was going in circles trying to connect everything together. As I walked out, simply letting out a sigh to the realization that I was probably inside a game right now. I made my way outside of the room with ease, soon approaching the long hallway that connected my own, what seemed to be my parent's and a few other rooms in what appeared to be the second story of a very big house.
When father said it was a decent one, it seems he was being humble! With so many options, I decided to walk around every room. They were labeled in English, which was very convenient! At least the game was in a language I could understand so far. Making my way downstairs after noticing that all the rooms in the second story were bedrooms, I found myself in a big main hall. It was made mostly out of wood and a few bits of marble to decorate, so it looked both comfy yet elegant.
I had three options now. The front door that headed towards the exit of the house, where I could make my way to the farm and the stables. The left side of the hall, from where I could hear a few voices and a fair bit of laughter. Or the right side, where everything was dead silent, with just a hint of a smell of recently cooked food.
I decided to head outwards. I didn't wanted to speak with others right now, and I was fairly curious if the animals of this world were similar to the ones back at home....To be honest, I just needed a bit of time alone to process everything that was happening right now.
Hey guys! Author here! Well, you know this is my first story, so the uploading may be a little erratic due to the situation with everything right now at my home. I just wanted to tell you I am doing my best, and I would love if you could leave little tips for me to follow, thanks much and have a great day!
