Earth Martial Arts

Xian was opposite to Parthenax's direction. Being mindful of what he would perform at the moment. Xian made a demonstration of each martial art he knew.

'Capoeira, Tai chi, Taekwondo, Wing Chu, Mui tai, Jeet Kune Do, Boxing, and Shaolin Kung fu. Maybe that's all for now.'

Parthenax then sat on the side as he watched Xian. He observed by the distance and saw the difference between this world's martial arts and what he was exhibiting.

"Capoeira!" he shouted.

He was crouching and then rotated with a spinning kick. The first step was to be in a rhythm called jinga. To sway your hands on the side then your footing changes to the other side. Capoeira was the martial art of Brazil along with Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

He made rotations and spinning kicks as he attacked the air. Also some trips and kicks on the head of the dummy. All while on his hands.

"See that? That is Capoeira!"

Next was Tai chi. It was also called touch boxing by the original users. The martial arts was renowned for its counters. Also for redirecting the attack to the attacker. Having hand movements that were used for self-defense as well as for health benefits. Having also timed breathing and posture.

Next was Taekwondo, which specifically came from Korea. It has two types: which were the Northern ITF taekwondo and the latter Renewal taekwondo.

He made kicks that displayed each of them.

Northern ITF Taekwondo was used by North Korea for killing purposes. Renewal Taekwondo that came from South Korea was made to counter each move of Northern ITF taekwondo.

Next was Wing Chun, which originated from China and was used by Master Ip Man. It was famous for its fast attacks that could defend and counter at the same time. Also, the straight blast that has machine-gun speed that Xian barraged at the target dummy. Also, he mixed elbow and jabs on it. Making a rapid burst of sound in the process.

He then made another demonstration. It was none other than Muay Tai also called Thai boxing. This martial art was unique as it uses elbows and knees to a higher degree or form. Making it a very brutal martial art.

Xian then performed it to him and then Parthenax observed some more. He rotated and elbowed the dummy. He then knee-kicked the dummy on the side and then leaped on the head. Nailing a knee on its face.

Next was Jeet Kune Do also known as JKD by Bruce Lee. To attack faster than your enemy. It was its principle and purpose. He immediately struck the dummy in a snappy attack and then his dummy emitted a snappy cracking noise.

Next was pretty common Boxing. He made hooks, straights, jabs, uppercuts, and also some blocks, and footwork.

And last he performed was Shaolin kung fu. It has various forms from creatures like Dragon, Tiger, Crane, Viper, Mantis, and Monkey. Each has its own fighting style and forms.

It was then, that Xian clapped his hands.

"So? Are you interested in learning?" Xian asked while nearly pleading. He wanted to have a student immediately. And if it was Parthenax, then it would be great! A good start to boot.

"I am interested in learning that martial arts. By the way, where did you learn them?" he asked.

"Secret," Xian put his pointing finger on his lips.

"Well, first, we put limiter weights on your body," Xian said to him.

"I can't bear to get beaten to pulp again this time," he then chuckled.

They soon put the limiters on his arms and feet then went to face each other. Adjusting both of their strengths to get equal from each other. They will have a small match after Xian demonstrates the Earth martial arts.

He used limiter weights and set them to equal Xian's strength and speed. It was then, they tested each other's mettle. They fought with just martial arts that they knew.

Parthenax was not shying out too and showcased the martial arts of this world. Although it was different, both showed great prowess.

Xian then used all he knew about that battle. The chance of having a student would be at stake.

Xian used striking martial arts that landed on Parthenax's hands. Kicking him on the head which was blocked and then he pivoted to the bottom. Making him trip on his feet. Xian then stood up and then Parthenax backflipped. He immediately closed the distance and then knee-kicked him. Making Parthenax block with all he got.

Gritting his teeth, he immediately stopped his attack and then kicked him, aiming at his face. Xian then rotated and kicked his face. Making both of their attacks land. But, Xian evaded the feet and only his hands were hit. Making him smirk in the process.

He immediately stepped back and then they attacked each other only using their hands. Xian attacked with speed and Parthenax too. They brawled with each other's hands and Xian attacked with his martial arts. Parthenax can only fend off using only his instincts. Making him at a disadvantage.

Xian then used Wing Chun as well as Tai Chi. Putting him in a tight spot. Several blows were entering his defense and it sure made him agitated. But still, he couldn't stop Xian. Making him grit his teeth in the process.

More blows landed on Parthenax and his pride was crushed. Making him roar in the process.

"I surrender!" Parthenax shouted.

With a grueling fight, Xian won against Parthenax.

Xian then thought that the martial arts of this world were outdated. Parthenax then became interested in the martial arts he demonstrated.

"What was that?" Parthenax was confused.

"It was the martial arts of another world. Even though it was lacking in firepower, it compensated with its technique. Earth martial arts is designed for the weak. Combined with this world's prowess, it will be a burst!" Xian shouted.

Parthenax then learned the Earth martial arts and techniques. In return, he was told to visit the Academy together with him. Xian was excited to go to the academy. Making it worthwhile at the moment.
