Entering the game, Unknown was checking the status of his village. He was still unsatisfied since he couldn't yet earn from it. He wanted to upgrade it into town and clearly knew it wouldn't be that easy since one qualification in upgrading it would be a twenty four hour defense from all sorts of beasts, monsters and players.

What he needed the most right now was to level up and reach the Rebirth level, acquire at least a legendary ranked servant and pet, to find defensive type of scrolls for the future town defense and also offensive scrolls since the saying an offense could also be a defense, upgrade the level of his land protector and its loyalty and to reach 1000 in his intelligence stats to be able to learn the skill [Fiery Earth].

[Name: Fiery Earth]

[Type: Skill]

[Rank: Legendary]

[Description: An AOE attacking spell that covers 50 meters from the caster. Being able to burst fire from the deepest chamber of the Earth. Deals 1 percent damage per second and lasts a whole minute, has a cooldown of twenty four hours.]

For now, there were only two mages who have acquired this skill, one from India and the other one from Somalia. And they were both had an extravagant life since they have joined big guilds and were earning a lot from them. Those big guilds benefitted a lot from them since they were able to acquire more resources, their guild member's levels increased tremendously and they have conquered dungeons easily that had lots of monsters inside.

The reason why he wanted this skill so much was because it could help him to level up faster, it could be his arsenal during the tower defense and also it has a high percentile damage.

But first comes to first, he still needed to acquire more skill points and he already knew how to acquire some of it since he has acquired it in the past when he was still the Vamp. Missions, that has how he acquired a few skill points in the past. He would travel around the Sky Kingdom and acquire every mission he has too just to get it. It would take him at most a year but he doesn't care since he could increase his level while doing these missions.

His first target location to acquire his first mission was the Red Flag Town, he then immediately travelled there by foot and reached it in an hour. He went to every NPC there and inquire if they have something that they might needed his help with. It took him ten minutes to get his first mission.

[Ding! Shopkeeper Zoltan asked you to deliver a package.]

[Accept/Refuse]

Of course he accepted it without a second thought and didn't immediately finished it since there was no time limit for the said mission. So what he did next was to talk to other NPC again. He received sixteen missions all in all. He was in luck since every mission he got has no time limit except one. Most of them were collecting herbs, some were hunting beasts, kill a certain monster and the most unexpected mission he received was to babysit.

Despite having a son, he has never tried to babysit him since he wasn't even able to see him once. He has a little idea when it comes to babysitting, but he still dared to accept it for the sake of skill points.

Since it was the only mission that has a time limit, he prioritized it first. It wasn't that hard doing it since he was guided by the NPC before letting him do the job on his own. Following the guidance of the NPC, he passed this mission with flying colors. It was a pity that he only acquired bronze coins and some meager exp.

Next, he did the other missions that were near him and finished it within a limited time. It was because the mission never wanted him to go to a higher level area, he was only allowed to go towards the level 150 and below map to acquire what he needed and finish those said missions.

For the rest of the time, he used the remaining hours finishing the missions but it took a lot of his time to finish it since he had to move from one place to another despite effortlessly finishing it. Still, he was once the Vamp, one who always does unscrupulous things that only a few dared to do.

To others, these missions were useless since they only got a meager reward but the Unknown knew that meager amount could bring something fruitful.

While doing these missions, he had observed the surroundings and saw a lot of monsters and beasts of neanderthal spawning once in a while. He wondered why and pondered about it while doing his missions. He also tried killing these things to get some useful information but to no avail, nothing. He only received exp from it.

Since he acquired no information ang got tired from too much traveling, he decided to go back at his village to look for Khan, the NPC protector of Lidger Village. He saw him walking around aimlessly.

[Khan (Legendary)]

[Level: 7]

[Loyalty: 0/100]

[Description: An aggressive fighter that won't stop until he avenged his brethren in battle. He values friendship over money.]

A week had already passed yet Khan's level was still at level 7. Unknown understood that he won't increase in level that easily since his village was at peace and he was only hunting NPC criminals that were somehow causing public disturbances. He had to do something for his level.

"Chief, you need something?" Khan asked when he saw the Unknown.

"Nothing, I just wanted to see your progress." Unknown casually said while thinking of a way on how to increase his level.

"Then Chief, I have something," Khan said that piqued the Unknown's interest.

"What is it?" Unknown asked.

Khan explained that he noticed some monsters and beasts from the neanderthal and wanted to eradicate them but he was still to weak with his current level. He also told him that a few people from the church of light passed by the village and eradicated those things.

It was then that Unknown recalled a few information regarding neanderthal and church of light. He remembered the storyline of the game.

Thousands of years ago, two powerful races were inhabiting the Divided Island Continent and were always at war - the dark and light races. Both party suffered major losses during the final Battle of Domination that caused them to lay low and strengthen their forces. Then the other races emerged after that war and slowly unleashed their strength, they were able to repel some of those two forces and were able to show their capability. Thus, the dark and light races also used their manpower to invite the other races to join them.

Upon learning that, the prophet of the Elven race saw was suddenly enlightened and saw that if this continues, there won't be races anymore rather it shall be called faction. Regardless of any races, they shall either be the Dark Faction, Light Faction, Neutral Faction and Player Faction. He predicted that a great war shall come in the future and these four factions shall wreck havoc to the Divided Island Continent, he termed it as the Great Faction War.

Unknown also remembered that there were only three factions at the moment and there wasn't yet a player faction. Now, he became more curious and wanted to delve on it immediately. He also knew whom to talk to regarding this, the beginner guide who was always guiding every player entering the game for the first time. He was in no rush because Khan was his priority for now.

"Khan, any idea how to increase your level faster?" Unknown casually asked. He knew that NPC's don't give information to players regarding themselves but there were a few who were exemptions like the beginner guide, emperors, some hermits living in solitude, few powerful merchants and a meager number of NPCs that were ranked legendary and above. He was just trying by asking Khan.

"If I can have my own servant and a squadron then I can hunt outside the village and have my own equipment, I can level up faster than anyone," Khan replied seriously. This reply made the Unknown shocked to the core, he never expected Khan to be an NPC who can give information about his own self and experiences. There were a trillion NPCs that were ranked legendary and above and only 0.0000001 percent of them could give such information. Meaning, only a thousand of them could give information. And that of those thousand, they were scattered in the whole Divided Island Continent.

His shocked was immediately turned to extreme happiness. He could now be at ease that his own village can easily become a city in no time, "If I can give you golds, can you acquire those things you wanted?"

"No problem!" Khan replied.

"How much do you need?" Unknown asked.

"One million for nurturing my squadron," Khan said.

"And the rests?" Unknown inquired again.

"I can acquire my own servant and equipment." Khan proudly stated.

Without a second thought, he immediately gave Khan a million gold. NPC Khan became very pleased upon receiving the golds.

[Ding! Khan's loyalty increased.]
