Omega Hydra Shadow

Ezra coughed up a mouthful of blood, his sight went blurry for a moment, almost losing losing consciousness. He did his best not to, rolling away quickly to avoid the incoming punch of the shadow.

He picked his scythe and as he came up he slashed upward and split the head if the shadow.

A string of notifications came to his ear, and he felt like he was floating in the clouds.

His motivation returned to him, he shot at the shadows like a bullet. When he was in range he leaped into the air.

The shadows fired shadow tendrils at him all at once, wanting to catch him mid air.

"If you are going to use my shadow ability, the use it well." He shouted and began slashing the tendrils in his descent.

When he spotted an opening, he slashed out multiple shadow blades. The shadows moved out of the way dodging the attacks, but not all were lucky.

He managed to kill two out of them, and to him that was cool. He landed in the ground and placed his palm on the ground.

"Shadow tendril." He said in a low tone.

Tendrils as large as arms shot out of the ground and shot towards the shadows, they attempted to entangle them.

The shadows dodged and and fought back, but after his level up, they were no longer on the same level.

When any tendril successfully caught a shadow, Ezra would run at it and kill it.

The notifications continueed rolling in more and more and his shadow energy rapidly rose, so much so that the shadows were no longer a threat to him.

"How much time left?" He asked.

[2hrs: 55mins: 34secs]

"Two hours left, I should make the best of this."

He was about to move, but a trembling suddenly started happening, and then shadow tendril two meter wide shit out of the ground in all directions.

[Danger detected]

[Omega Hydra Shadow detected]

[Chances of survival: 0]

[Survive till the end of the time]

Ezra read the notifications, and he immediately knew that he was in deep shit, very deep one.

"No chances of survival? What the fuck, then how am I to survive?" He asked in anger.

[Run]

That was the only response the system gave, and Ezra's feet obeyed, they shot in a random direction, not looking back at the hydra at all.

The hydra shot out five if its tendrils in pursuit of Ezra, they moved fast than he ran, and reached his location in a split second.

He attempted to use shadow dive, but before he could fully get away, a tendrils slammed into him, it sent him flying like a rag doll, his ribs cracked and he coughed out blood.

The hydra didn't stop there, it swung its tendril and slammed him again mid air into the ground. He landed with a loud bang and caused the fog to part.

He coughed up another large amount of blood, his bones cracked undneath the pressure of the attack.

The tendril withdrew, but they stayed ready to see if he would get back up.

Ezra struggled back on his feet, he staggered without end, using his scyth that he had refused to let go of to balance himself.

"Fuck you." He spat in rage.

"I won't yield, no way. If I run, then you will toy with me how you want, I will not be toyed with, I will never let anyone decid what happens to me."

Instead of running away from the Omega Hydra, he ran towards it. The hydra saw this insulting creature headed towards it, it used one if his tendril to slam him to death.

Ezra rolled way at the right moment, and then used shadow dive, he come out close to the tendril that had just slammed down.

He slashed at it with full force and cut the tendril.

[You have gained 100 shadow energy]

[You have awakened shadow perception]

Ezra wanted to be surprised that he had gotten a 100 shadow energy from just cutting the limb of this creature, and that he had gotten a new ability, but that was not important now.

For some reason now, he could perceive all the shadows around him, and he could see all the movements of the shadow hydra even without seeing it physically.

"Is this the shadow perception?" He asked himself.

He shot towards the hydra at full speed, managing to Dodge the attack at the right point because of shadow perception.

"If I die here, then I die, but I would rather die than bow to you, I would rather die than be toyed with." Ezra roared resolutely.

He kept slashing the limbs of this hydra, getting more and more shadow energy, but even with that, the odds were not slightly balanced.

A tendrils slammed into his chest and sent him flying far way, breaking more bones in his body, he rolled for a large distance.

"System, do I have enough points to buy a healing potion or something?" He asked with struggle.

[Do you wish to purchase it?]

"Yes, do it." He said.

A small bottle with red liquid inside appeared in his hands, he uncorked it and drank tbe contents completely.

The bones in his body that were cracked or broken immediately started healing, his bruises and wounds all ealed up as well.

"How much time left?" He asked as he stood up.

[10mins: 34secs]

"Seems this is the end, and yet I survived, against stupid odds."

The hydra saw that Ezra was still alive, it shot all of its tendril at him, reaching fifteen in number.

"I can't take the all, that is simply impossible."

"System purchase another potion and give it to me when I ask for it."
