Zayn watched as Antoine exited the room, leaving them alone. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Antoine knew something more than he let on.
Something was going on behind the scenes, and he was definitely going to find out about it sooner or later.
"Zayn." A female voice jolted Zayn out of his reverie.
"Yes, mom?" His head shook slightly.
"Is there something you're not telling me? You seem pretty into it." Her tone was filled with concern.
"Oh. It's nothing. How'd you get here in time? I thought I had only been out for a few minutes. Is there something I'm missing?" He scratched his chin.
"A few minutes?" His mom scoffed.
"Did I say something funny?" Zayn asked in puzzlement.
"You were in a comatose state for 2 weeks! Did you know how worried I was about you?! Not to mention, you were heaving and shaking, I almost thought you were going to die..." His mom's voice panicked.
"I'm sorry mom..." He tried to console her, but inside he was screaming.
