Vol. 2 - Prologue

{Max} 

{A Few Days Later}

An arrow flew through the air. 

It struck a goblin's neck, going straight through it and popping out the other side. That goblin hit the ground, and its friends went to run at the person responsible. 

That was, of course, Max who was standing off to the side, bow raised up in the goblins' direction. 

All of the tiny monsters were between the levels 8 and 12. They all ran over to her, saliva bouncing off their open mouths with every step, their weapons held out. 

Then, a second human appeared before them that they hadn't expected. 

Emi ran in, two daggers in her hands. She dashed into the incoming forces, running as close as she could before, suddenly, she disappeared. 

The goblins stopped, confused. 

Then, the girl reappeared behind them. One after another, in quick succession, Emi drove her knives into their green bodies. 

[Shoot, she's going to take all the EXP!]
