Beyond forgiveness
Days had turned into weeks, and Teddy found himself lost in thoughts as he stared at the unopened box sitting in the corner of his room.
The box seemed to bear an air of mystery, its plain exterior almost mocking him as it sat silently, inviting yet intimidating, as if it were silently pleading to be opened.
With a mixture of curiosity and trepidation, Teddy reached for it, the rough texture of the cardboard beneath his fingertips sending a shiver of anticipation through him.
He slowly lifted the lid, and to his astonishment, nestled within was a gleaming silver door key. It caught the light in a way that made it look almost otherworldly.
"What could this possibly unlock?" he mused, his mind racing with possibilities as he carefully peeled away the red tissue paper that enveloped the key.
