"It's fine. I don't want to burden you with these silly things. But if Damien asks, you can tell this was you," Mira said with a wave of her hand as she thanked Jayna and walked away with the ingredient list in her hand.
Jayna had a slightly confused look as she looked at Mira's back.
Mira right away went towards the kitchen and grabbed a glass and the ingredients Jayna suggested. Of course, she did it discreetly without any of the servants noticing.
All they wondered was why their matriarch's disciple took a surprise tour of the kitchen. Was it some kind of surprise inspection?
And just as they expected, Mira asked them questions to see if they were doing their jobs properly.
Within the next minute, she left, and her next stop was her own room. She locked her door and cleared up her messy table before dumping the ingredients on it and placing the glass on the table as well.
