The ultimatum

As the sun rose on Ortania, the fate of the Kingdom seemed bleak as the incompetency of its leaders, dissatisfaction in its military and mistrust about the government in the minds of the people became the key factors for the downfall of Ortania, a revolution was on the horizon, Ashhad woke up early as usual and by that time only Dean had woken up, so Ashhad went outside and headed straight to the bathroom, he splashed some water on his face and came outside, he saw Dean was making preparations about something so Ashhad walked up to him and asked

Ashhad : what're you doing?

Dean : heading to the town.

Ashhad : why?

Dean : so we can become aware about Sufiyan's next move, he's not just gonna sit around after what we did yesterday.

Ashhad : hmm fair enough.

Dean : I do trust you guys but, one thing just keeps bogging me.

Ashhad : what?

Dean : you said that Sufiyan became your enemy because you stood up for the rights of a third gender.

Ashhad : true.

Dean : you tell me one thing how can I differentiate between an ordinary man and a third gender?

Ashhad : it's a truth that's hard to believe.

Dean : I wanna believe you but at the same time this whole situation seems so ...

Ashhad cut him off by saying

Ashhad : I remember Arthur's words crystal clear, our Kingdom had 200 disabled people, Sufiyan killed them as well.

Dean : what, why?

Ashhad : because of their disability.

Dean : I need evidence.

Ashhad : Stevenburg is the capital, the town with the most population in all of Ortania, explore it, if you find any disabled person, I'll give you 1 million emeralds no strings attached.

Dean : you're serious?

Ashhad : more than I've ever been.

Dean grinned and said

Dean : then it's settled.

Dean left for Stevenburg while Ashhad went back inside, one by one all the friends woke up, Ashhad told them all about Dean and some of them began to think that Dean had betrayed them, while waiting for breakfast Ashhad argued with Hussnain and Zulqarnain regarding Dean

Zulqarnain : I don't think he's coming back.

Hussnain : yeah me neither.

Ashhad : he said he was going to the town to get news about what's going on in the Kingdom.

Zulqarnain : classic excuse.

Ashhad : I'm telling you he's gonna come back any second.

Hussnain : well I think otherwise.

Zulqarnain : mercenaries work for the bigger bid, their like prostitutes but less effective.

Ashhad : well let's not jump to conclusions yet.

Humzah : Ashhad's right, we should wait and see.

just then a knock happened on the door, a big smile appeared on Ashhad's face as Nizaam said

Nizaam : I'll open it.

Nizaam walked up to the door and opened it, standing outside was Dean, his was face was pale as he came into the cabin Nizaam asked him

Nizaam : Dean is everything alright.

Dean didn't say a word, he turned to Nizaam tightly hugged him and said

Dean : you poor little soul, I'm so sorry for what happened to you.

as Dean let go of him Ashhad and the rest stood up, Hussnain asked

Hussnain : Dean what happened?

Dean : Ashhad you were right, Sufiyan did indeed kill all the disabled people.

Ashhad : told ya.

Dean : I now realize just how wrong I was, Sufiyan is going to pay for what he did.

Ashhad : we'll deal with him later first let's have some breakfast.

Dean : agreed, oh and I also got big news for you guys.

Ashhad : good share it after breakfast, come on.

after saying that the friends went for breakfast, after a delicious breakfast, they all sat down to discuss their next move as Ashhad asked

Ashhad : now, Dean you wanted to tell us something.

Dean : right, one of my old clients in Stevenburg told me that Sufiyan has imposed national emergency across the country.

Kainaat : are we really that big of a threat for Sufiyan?

Dean : I suppose we are.

Aliza : he's such a scaredy cat.

Dean : furthermore, he told me that town of Falkshire was attacked by zombies last night.

Humzah : what?!

Dean : and to add the cherry on top he also told me that both the townsfolk and armed forces have lost all hope in Sufiyan's government.

Nizaam : that's great.

Zulqarnain : not really.

Nizaam : why?

Hussnain : an unhappy populace is most likely to rebel.

Dean : the last thing we'd want is to have a dictator worse than Sufiyan become King.

Ashhad : well what do you propose then?

Dean : so far all efforts made by Sufiyan to stop you have failed, as a matter of fact your attack on the military camp of Khanville and the zombie attack on Falkshire have only proven how weak Sufiyan and the Ortanian military is.

Ashhad : what are you implying?

Dean : Sufiyan's nothing more than a weak dictator clinging to power and right now he is at his weakest, I say we go to the royal palace and give Sufiyan an ultimatum, either abdicate or we will attack Stevenburg and depose him ourselves.

Alyne : that doesn't sound like a good idea.

Dean : why?

Kainaat : Sufiyan is the king of Ortania, he can summon the entire population of Ortania with a single command.

Dean : which population, the one that is so dissatisfied by him?

Kainaat was speechless as Dean said

Dean : use your mind Kainaat, everyone hates Sufiyan.

Ashhad : Dean's right, it's now or never.

Zulqarnain : it's dangerous but it's our only chance.

Hussnain : well what're we waiting for, let's do this.

with that said the group left for the royal palace, on the other hand Sufiyan, Saad and Skull crusher had woken up, they were behind closed doors discussing how they were gonna stabilize the situation in the Kingdom as Sufiyan said

Sufiyan : Skull crusher give me a status report of our Kingdom.

Skull crusher : yesterday's imposition of national emergency has had a drastic impact on our Kingdom, people are confused as to why we declared an emergency when we are not at war with anyone furthermore, the people of Falkshire are demanding compensation for their loss, also our military is the smallest in the whole world, all in all it's pretty bad.

Saad : the Falkshire crisis can be solved with some economic aid, as for the military I'm sure if we go to each citizen individually, atleast a 100 volunteers will join.

Skull crusher : then again we can always do conscription.

Sufiyan : why didn't I think of that?

Saad : what?

Sufiyan : conscription and it'll be mandatory for all citizens.

Skull crusher : sounds good to me.

Sufiyan : Skull crusher go and announce that national emergency is over and that all threats .....

before Sufiyan could even complete his sentence the door of the throne room opened with a loud thud as the royal guard came flying and fell on the ground, Sufiyan and the rest got up from their seats in horror and before they could even comprehend what had happened, Ashhad and his friends entered the room, seeing them Sufiyan fumbled and almost fell down as Skull crusher shouted

Skull crusher : how dare you ....

Ashhad cut him off by saying

Ashhad : don't bother asking.

Sufiyan : guards! guards!

Humzah : their busy in maintaining the national emergency, so don't bother calling them either.

Saad : why are you doing this, what will you gain from destabilizing Ortania?

Nizaam : for your information we are Ortanians.

Sufiyan : your not Ortanian, you're not even human in my eyes.

Ashhad : the rope got burnt, but the force did not.

Sufiyan : indeed the force still exists, for the only thing that'll burn is you.

Hussnain : I think he has gone crazy.

Dean : doesn't matter, his rule is coming to an end anyways.

Sufiyan : what do you mean?

Zulqarnain : what he means is that your time is up.

Dean : you have till tonight either abdicate from your position or we will overthrow you.

Sufiyan : you're going to overthrow me, do you not know who I am?

Ashhad : all you are is a weak, scared and war mongering tyrant, you do not care for the betterment of this Kingdom, because you are a heartless heathen.

Humzah : you killed innocent people for no reason, you're going straight to hell for that.

Sufiyan : if I go to hell than you all are coming with me.

Ashhad : whine all you want, after all it is your last day.

Sufiyan : so this is what it has came to, my own best friends have turned on me.

Alyne : we never wanted this to happen, this is all your fault.

Sufiyan : Basit must be so upset because of you.

Hussnain : actually he'll be a lot happier that we rid the world of a menace like you.

Sufiyan : this can still end peacefully, no harm done whatsoever.

Nizaam : it's to late for that Sufiyan.

Sufiyan angrily growled

Sufiyan : fine then go on do your worst, infact I dare you try and stop me!

Dean : if you do not abdicate, we will siege Stevenburg.

Saad : only a true enemy of the nation would do ....

Kainaat : for fucking sake Saad shut up!!

Saad became quiet as Skull crusher said

Skull crusher : once you see the Ortanian army, you'll regret what you said.

Zulqarnain : your army is just as competent as a deer against a lion.

Sufiyan : we'll see about that.

Nizaam : I believe we've said everything we needed to say.

Humzah : you took the words right out of my mouth.

Dean : you have till tonight either abdicate or else.

Humzah : KABOOM!!

Dean grinned and said

Dean : exactly.

Sufiyan and Skull crusher seemed adamant but Saad seemed scared, as the friends left Sufiyan said

Sufiyan : Saad, evacuate the town.
