A new world

as the scene opens we get to see a glimpse of what has became of earth, the planet is in complete ruins large cities which once housed millions are completely empty the great War killed 90% of the population, of the 10% that remained a majority had joined the virtual world among these survivors was our protagonist, our story begins with two best friends heading somewhere in an old Armored Fighting Vehicle one of them was 31 year old ASHHAD KHAN and along with him was his best friend 33 year old HUMZAH ASAD prior to the war Ashhad was a renowned Neurologist the best in his country and amongst the best in the world he lived a decent life he wasn't physically very strong but he was very smart his best friend Humzah was ten times better than him, Humzah was the son of a billionaire he inherited his father's fortune and using his sharp mind had gotten profit after profit prior to the war Humzah was the richest man on earth he was strong, smart and rich however fate had brought these two influential men on the run during the war Ashhad and Humzah dodged conscription and for a long time they were hunted down by their countries government until finally their no longer was a government left to hunt them, Ashhad was driving while Humzah was giving him directions

Humzah : Ok it's smooth sailing from here just a straight 30 minutes drive and before you know it we will be at sector A.

Ashhad : after what we have been through peace seems like a dream to me.

Humzah : dreaming is for those who sleep and I am wide awake.

Ashhad: you and your quotes.

Ashhad kept driving and soon they were at sector A it was skyscraper and was the only building that stood following the end of the great War, after parking the car the two immediately went inside the place was completely ran by bots the only human was the receptionist the two went to her and asked

Humzah : greetings we are here to join the virtual reality program.

Receptionist : alright sign these papers and the robots will guide you.

after signing up the two followed the robots, they soon arrived at the room filled with pods as the robot said

robot : remove all your belongings and enter the empty pod.

the two handed their belongings to the robot and were about to enter the pod when the robot said

robot : you cannot enter without removing all your belongings.

Humzah : what do you mean?

robot : look at these pods, what do you see next to them?

next to each pod were a set of clothes as Ashhad said

Ashhad : you have to be serious?

robot : you are of the same gender I suppose and I am emotionless so their is no reason to be offended.

Humzah : what do you mean, I suppose?

Robot : I am programmed not to offend anyone over any reason, so I was just making sure.

Ashhad : ugh, fine.

Ashhad and Humzah took off their clothes and entered the pod bare naked like the robot had asked them, Ashhad saw a bright light before everything went dark.
