Chapter 4

"Lady Juliette, How would you like your hair done for today?" Casey said as she braided my hair.

"Hmm, Just live it all down Casey", Casey smiled as she combed through my long brown hair with my gifted crystal brush.

"What dress would you like to wear for today, Lady Juliette?", Another one of my maids said as she lurked through my closet.

"I want to wear the dress the Crown Prince gifted me Bailey", Bailey's eyes widened in excitement as she took out a long fluffy green dress with emeralds sewed into the sides.

Claude made the dress in accordance to my eye color.

Today is the day me and Claude take a stroll through the capital. In my past life I didn't go as Father wanted me to help Renata get adjusted to the manor. I see now that was all apart of their ploy.

"My my, You look absolutely magnificent, Lady Juliette", Bailey said with her hands covering her mouth.

"Why take you, Bailey".

"Greetings Renata", I said as I stopped in front of them at the bottom of the steps.

"Little sister, Where might you be going", Renata with with a confused face.

This is exactly what she said last time while the entire time she knew where i was going because Father told her.

"I have an outing with the Crown Prince", I said with a grin while glaring at Renata.

Her eyes widened as she said, "The Crown Prince, I've always wanted to meet the Crown Prince. May I please come with you little sister". She said while attempting to grab onto my arm.

I took two steps back and told her "No you may not. It's a private meeting between me and the Crown Prince. I assumed Father already told you". At that moment Father appeared.

"Juliette don't you think you should stay here and help Renata get accustomed to this new life". Father said while approaching me.

"I really can't Father as this is an outing planned by the Crown Prince himself and it wouldn't be proper to not go when i already agreed." Father hesitated and seemed rather angry.

"Juliette, I think helping your sister get accustomed to this new life is more important than you date", Father said while he gritted his teeth.

"I can always help Renata when i get back or any other day but today is too important and I can't just skip this outing".

"I must be going now. I'll see you two when i get back. Goodbye Father and Renata." Father crossed his arms and his face turned to angry. While Renata seemed annoyed.

I really want to go not just to ruin their plans but because I want to see Claude again.

I lifted up the sides of my dress and stepped foot into my carriage. Waving goodbye at my angry Father and bratty sister.
