Chapter 6

Naruto was far enough from Fire Country and near the border of the land of Hot Springs when he decided to stop. He turned off his chakra cloak and just sat on top of a tree, sighing.

Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. He should have planned better before throwing himself headfirst, without thinking, into this brand-new world.

Though it wasn't like he had a lot of time to think about it. After all, he had died protecting Sasuke from one of Kaguya's bones. He didn't regret what he did, just regretted being so happy about their victory that he let his guard down enough for one of Kaguya's arms to slip from the seal and for her attack to reach them.

Sasuke would have probably moved away. Nevertheless, once again, Naruto didn't think as he pushed him away and took his place. He just remembered given his best friend a last smile before he awoke inside his mind.

He could still feel his body slowly disintegrating, but it was so slow it seemed like crawling dust was around his stomach instead of the almost instant action that he had become used to seeing in the war. It was as if time had stopped to preserve him in that state. He had looked away from the hole in his body to see Kurama and the old man Sage looking at him.

Hagoromo offered him a second chance then, not to the past as with Kaguya gone it was more-or-less safe. Instead, he offered for him to go to a world similar to his own. Some slight differences here and there that created a different timeline or something. He didn't understand well and would probably need Kurama to explain it to him once again.

He just remembered asking the old man Sage if there was a Kaguya and a Zetsu to threaten it and when Hagoromo looked at him as if he already knew his answer even before he had said it, and told him that yes, that their plan was still ongoing as there were no major changes in this timeline.

Well, there was no way Naruto was going to refuse, was it?

He accepted.

He remembered how Hagoromo smiled then, like a proud parent, before he looked at his body and asked him if he wanted him to put his consciousness into his younger body, but Naruto not knowing what was the change in this timeline, refused.

After all, he had already lived his life, and as it wasn't time travel what was going to happen, he didn't want to take away the experience of making real friends from his other self.

So, yeah, he declined.

He didn't ask when he was going to be put to, just asked if he was going to be in his own body.

Hagoromo said 'yes' and when Naruto looked at the hole in his lower stomach, the old man Sage assured him Kurama will take care of it. He said that his chakra was probably going to be slightly depleted, but that a good nap could help him recover most of it.

He wasn't sure how Kurama would fix him, but maybe he should have asked. After all…

He looked down at his new breasts and grabbed them between his smaller hands and squeezed.

"So weird," he muttered before gulping as he looked down at his pants. With a resigned sigh, he grabbed the rim of his underwear and pulled it down to see.

"Is this… a pussy?"

He heard a snort inside his mind and he quickly adjusted hi clothes, face burning red.

'Don't laugh,' he pouted.

Kurama rolled his eyes. 'Not like it's the first time you see a pussy, brat.'

Naruto pouted harder as he waved a hand. 'I always ran whenever Ero-senin brought a woman, remember? I never saw one this close.'

'Oh, you pure, summer child.'

'Shut up, Fleabag.'

A snort. 'You envy my fur, admit it.'

Naruto grumbled, but he had got to admit that his fur was really soft and shiny. Which was weird because he was a being made of chakra. Or maybe it was because of that, that it looked so perfect.

Anyway.

He shook his head and stood up from the tree, deciding to run towards the river he had seen before. His hair fell towards his face and he blew it away before stopping mid jump. He fell to the ground but still landed gracefully.

He mechanically lifted his hand and grasped a small strand of hair.

Red hair.

'Kurama…'

'Yeah, about that. It seems I awoke the recessive Uzumaki genes on you that the Namikaze's managed to stomp out originally.'

'What?'

The Fox ignored him. 'So you probably can now use chains and that passive healing ability some females of your clan had.'

Naruto rolled his eyes. 'I already got you for healing, though?'

'I mean the healing bite. Anyone who bit you would heal. It would probably be stronger than most, as your chakra has some of my father's.'

'What.'

'Weird, I know. But it will probably help you hide your other more powerful healing abilities. As for those, you need to be in that chakra cloak mode.' Kurama hummed. 'Not that I think you need to hide. You're more powerful than a tailed beast. No one alive, not even Zetsu could stop you. Though he would be crafty enough to evade you, I think it would be better if you served as a bait to bring him out.'

'Wouldn't he be wary of me?'

'I bet he would be curious and overestimate his hiding capabilities. You could easily find him, then.'

'Better to plan later, okay? I'm a bit hungry and thirsty,' Naruto said with a smile as he went to the river. He took a deep breath before he looked at his reflection.

He was surprised by what he found.
