01: Betrayal

Chapter one Betrayal

Well I am a bit disappointed because I had a clear image of what I wanted for this chapter, but I don't think how I wrote it is good so yeah sorry, hope you still enjoy the chapter

******

Waking up I felt stronger than ever, my wounds were healed, and my powers were "back". Looking around I saw pure destruction, the ground was destroyed beyond recognition, it was as if it was the apocalypse.

Surrounding the place was a black barrier made of a multitude of colors. I looked at the sky and there was a face from the same substance as the barrier. I recognized this being as Khaos, smiling I said, "thank you", which was answered by a golden smile and the disappearance of the shield.

I was truly thankful because "he" not only made it so that my fight against Atlas was not interrupted, but "he" also protected me while I was out cold.

As the barrier faded, I felt many gazes, divine gazes. Some were stronger, primordial strong, while there also were normal gods. I looked at them. Then let my divinity flow. Most gods "went" away, while the stronger ones were still here. So I used my power as a god of darkness and created a divine black hole in front of their vision. And so most "closed" their eye.

Waiting for me on the other side of the barrier were seven people, gods. While they weren't in their divine form meaning that there is a great possibility that not there all being is there, I am still grateful, and I understand because our fight should have lasted a very long time.

They were the three furies, Thanatos, Hypnos, Nemesis, and Hestia. "Brother!" shouted my little Sister. "Hi, how are you," I said while hugging her. "Worried about you and.." she exclaimed while the end of her sentence began to become sad. "Shhh," I said, placing my finger on her lips. "Welcome back my Lord," said the other which I responded with a smile and a nod.

"Now what is it that you wanted to tell me," I asked her, but she hugged me even harder. At this moment Thanatos said, "I can explain it to you my Lord if it is what you desire." "I am curious, what happened?" I inquired.

"The other ones seemed to have abandoned you." He hissed with a very angry look. "What!" I blurted. "They have built Olympus, made a "council" and separated the world without waiting for you. They even seemed happy that you were not here!" he explained while I was lost in my thought. "How have they separated the world" I wondered narrowing my eyes.

"Zeus got the sky, Poseidon the sea, while Hera got the Underworld, the earth was made neutral." He said with a disappointed expression "Hera-What!" I snarled, does she truly believe herself the queen of the Underworld?

Using my connection to the underworld I verified and found out that the Underworld didn't accept her and that she had less power than normal because she tried to forcefully take the right of the domain while being too weak and not made for it.

"What about Mother," I asked with hope. This time it was Nemesis that answered, "The bitch hasn't said anything". Why? What have I done to deserve this?

"Let's go!" I snorted, "Where?" asked Hestia "Olympus!" I growled.

And there we were, Olympus a white and golden temple that was extremely beautiful but that didn't interest me. No, I was seeing it fall.

In front of us were gigantic golden gates, they don't deserve gold I thought, and used my power over the earth and metals to completely shatter them as well as some pillars. Silence no one spoke, they all looked terrified as I walked in.

A ceremony was going on I think seeing all the people and how they were clothed. "What are doing here!" shouted a black-haired spartan-like man with a body even more buffed than Zeus. "Shut up" I coldly responded without glancing at the extremely young god. "Haaaa" he rushed at me and again without looking at him, I waved my hand and darkness erupted from the ground and pushed him onto the wall, breaking it.

"You will reg-" he couldn't finish his sentence as Hypnos appeared in a blur in front of him and placed his hand on the young god's face making him fall asleep.

"What is the meaning of this!" shouted Zeus looking down on his brother from his golden thrown.

A golden energy erupted from my body, and golden markings on my arm shined extremely bright, all the divine beings felt dread, they felt the fear of death something which they obviously shouldn't have.

My body became much stronger, the weight of my body became much stronger, as if gravity was much stronger the ground cracked under the pressure. Space itself distorted itself. I was no longer under Zeus in terms of height, I was higher. Looking down at him I exclaimed, "What is the meaning of this" repeating what Zeus previously said.

Darkness enveloped the place, it devoured the temple and was beginning to be more oppressive. Golden strings "floated" in "reality" around me, they couldn't hang themselves on me.

Till I found the "gaze" of three beings, the fates, more and more golden strings appeared and while they couldn't arm me, they could still "help" other beings. The moment our gaze met I saw many gods rushing to Olympus, I saw entire pantheons and I saw fate surrounding Olympus.

*Tch* while they may have survived, for now, their time will come because fate won't always be in their favor. I smiled for they will be crushed by the sky.
