Something must've happened

"What!?" Lu Changing screamed in shock.

"My mother? How's is that possible?" he added

Liang Guozhi shrugged his shoulders "I don't know. Ask her not me. I just only heard this rumor from her"

"My mother wouldn't just go around and create such rumor about her own son" Lu Changing said in denial. He refused to believe that that his own mother is telling everyone that her son is gay.

Liang Guozhi sighed helplessly "You know how Aunty Lu is. She is a chatterbox. Who doesn't know about her life and yours?"

Lu Changing groaned in frustration "I told her many times to stop talking about our personal lives"

Liang Guozhi "I don't why you're complaining. You're just exactly like Aunty Lu"

Lu Changing felt a little offended "Hey! I'm totally different from my mom. My mom will talk to anyone. Me, on the other hand, I choose the people I want to talk to and whom I should ignore"

Liang Guozhi shook his head "So, you're technically admitting that Aunty Lu is social while you are antisocial"

"What?! I'm not antisocial" Lu Changing said in disagreement.

"Yes, you are"

"No, I'm not"

"You've always been antisocial. I didn't know this because we've been best friends since we were infants, but as we grew older from jr hight to high school and to college. I started noticing that you've become more and more reserved...

I saw how you had trouble fitting in other groups of people, but after when you start talking to them you get comfortable with them. You turn into a chatterbox just like Aunty Lu" Liang Guozhi said

For a few seconds Lu Changing was quiet. Liang Guozhi was right. He grew up and became more reserved. He tried to be in many groups of people, but it was hard to fit in. He felt uncomfortable being surrounded by so many people. He was talkative in the inside, but on the outside he was quiet... it was his facade.

"How many times has Aunty Lu told to get yourself a girlfriend?" Liang Guozhi asked

"Many times, why?" Lu Changing was confused. Why was Liang Guozhi asking this question? Weren't they talking about the reason why his mother kept making rumors that he was gay?

"Aunty Lu told everyone that you were gay. She created this rumor and she told me that she would confirm it to the media soon " Liang Guozhi started explaining.

"Why?!" Lu Changing stood up and interrupted

Liang Guozhi glared at him and warned "Let me finish or else I'm not going to tell you anything"

Lu Changing grumbled "Fine" He sat down and stayed quiet.

"Aunty Lu wants everyone to know that you're gay because it will ruin your reputation. She hopes that this would drive you at your wit's end and you would be forced to get a girlfriend just so you can prove to the media that you're actually straight and not gay" Liang Guozhi finished explaining.

Liang Guozhi glanced at Lu Changing and he saw his mouth wide open and his eyes were not even blinking.

Liang Guozhi sighed and said "You better close your mouth or else a mosquito will fly inside and you would swallow it"

Liang Guozhi's words made Lu Changing come back from his stupor "You mean my mother created this rumor, just so I'd be forced to get a girlfriend?"

"Mmm" Liang Guozhi confirmed his question before he said "Finding the girlfriend won't be hard because apparently you've already fallen for someone. I never thought this moment would happen. How is that possible?"

Listening to Liang Guozhi mentioning the woman that stirred his heart made Lu Changing think back of his precious. He smiled subconsciously.

Liang Guozhi saw his smile and said "You smiled, something must've happened"

Lu Changing looked at Liang Guozhi and stayed quiet for a few seconds before he decided to tell him everything. "The reason why I missed the business dinner was because I slept with a woman"

Liang Guozhi's silver eyes dilated in shock "Wait, I think I misheard. Did you just said you slept with a woman?"

"Yes" Lu Changing nodded

"How?" Curiosity was shown in Liang Guozhi's eyes. He wanted to know how his best friend started to have feelings for a stranger he just met.

Lu Changing began explaining "I was planning on going to the business dinner. But, before I could go there I went to the bathroom. I entered the bathroom and that's when I saw a really beautiful girl using the sink as support. She seemed to have trouble breathing and her face seemed red...

The first thing I thought when I saw her was "Why is there a lady in the man's bathroom?" I look at her and she tried to move away when she saw me, but she immediately fell to the ground.
