Martha appears above her grave marker in the form of a shining golden wolf, her pelt spotted with streaking Umbral stars. One of Broad Brook's few Children of Gaia, Martha taught Nin, and helped keep the Silver Fang and Shadow Lord factions working together.
Until she couldn't.
The ancestral spirit is a tapestry of despair and frustration. She blames herself for Broad Brook's fall, but she's so pale and attenuated that she can't explain exactly how. These aren't Garou in the cemetery, you remind yourself: they are legacies made almost tangible. Martha's spirit burns with humility and mercy, Wisdom and Honor, but this isn't Martha—only her memory. And she lacks the strength and cohesion to offer a Gift to anyone except those she was close to in life. In that, she's a bit like Clay. You can only stare into her sad eyes until she sinks back into the black earth.
