Quantity To Make Up For Quantity

Jing Sheng froze. He was trembling with fear.

He was scared and wasn't able to move.

In Jing Sheng's world his created weapons were used in great wars and assured victories for his faction and slaughtered millions of soldiers of the other factions.

But he had never participated in life threatening wars himself. If he did, he did it from a distance where he was guaranteed to be safe. He participated against his will, as there were some weapons only he could achieve better results and precision using them.

'Why am I feeling fear?' Jing Sheng felt something strange. 'Is the the fox's ability?'

Not just Jing Sheng but everyone else was trembling.

But to their surprise the fox didn't react at all!

They were so close to it and it didn't even react nor attacked them like they didn't even exist

with a single command from Jing Sheng they all exited the hole.

As for why it didn't react… it did spot Jing Sheng and others before they even entered the hole. Don't pay attention to its size that was nothing big and could compare to a simple dog…

But It was a desolute beast with peak rank 6 battel strength.

It could rival Rank 6 gu immortals and even kill them! To it Jing Sheng and his 'crew' were mere insects. What use it had to slay a rank 4 gu master.

Everyone faces turned gloomy when they heard Jing Sheng's description and realized that they had just escaped death itself. They were glad especially Chin Hwa who had a thought to pet the damn thing.

Whatever circumstances they were not going to enter that hole again.

Cold sweat started pouring down their fore heads 'You told us that, that thing can kill us with no sweat and now you want us to fight it?'

"Master Jing Sheng do you believe we can stand a chance…according to your description we are a loss cause" Xue Ne objected.

"No I have a full prove plan" Jing Sheng said with confidence.

First of all, his confidence came from the wrong information that rank 5 are the strongest and he thought that fox was rank 5…strength of a rank 6 compared to rank 5 is heaven and earth they can slaughter rank 5 easily.

After all the planning they proceeded to initiate the war on the fox.

"I will repeat the same strategy again like I did with the lynx beast tide." Jing Sheng thought and started creating a massive explosive.

"That other explosive that I used on the beast emperor was good but I had created it in a hurry and didn't had man power before… but now I can give simple tasks to them like mixing and stuff"

They all started working on it. First they were to dig down a deep hole

They did not had any suitable gu worms for digging so the had to do with offensive type gu worms.

It was around 10 meters in length and was 6 meters wide and 30 meters deep.

This pit took a lot of time to dig.

But the real work was yet to come.

Potato mine gu!

He kept on using potato mine gu for weeks to fill up that pit. A single potato mine was at the size of a adult's fist and he had to fill up the pit

The cycle of his primeval sea drying up and replenishing continued until the pit was full

This all took them three weeks and luckily the fox didn't left the hole. They were ready!

The fox was enjoying its deep sleep when a grass puppet tried to stab it.

But with a single paw strike the puppet blew up there was nothing left to regenerate. All the other puppets around ten of them make a run for the exit but in a split second none of them was left alive.

They failed to lure the fox out of the cave. When Jing Sheng lost connection with the puppets all of a sudden he understood what had happened.

"This thing is stronger than I expected!!" Jing Sheng got hopeless all of a sudden.

The desolute fox wasn't foolish it knew that the grass puppets had an owner. So it left the hole trying to find the idiot who disturbed its sleep.

Jing Sheng had built large walls around the hole so it would lead the fox to the explosives.

And the fox actually did follow not because of the walls but because of Jing Sheng.

It had spotted him who was hiding afar! The fox walked slowly when it was about to step on the detonator potato mine.

But it was a desolute beast it had already knew about the mines so it actually stepped right beside it. The distance was so small that Jing Shengs subordinates curse in their minds. They had just missed by a fluke.

"Smart too…this creature is fascinating" saying so a thunder clap was heard.

But a sound that came after the thunder clap replaced it and any other sound in that small world covered by end walls.
