Chapter 46: He Died There and Then

Hanson turned around with an impassive look on his face. "Go ahead, what did he do this time?"

"He's dead," Vincent replied solemnly.

Hanson's brows drew together in a frown.

Howard was surprised to hear the news as he stood at the side. "How could it be?"

"We received a call from our men saying that they'd made Ryan work at a construction site in hopes that it'll tame his pride. Unfortunately, a metal pillar that had been lifted high up in the air suddenly fell and hit him in the head by accident. He was no longer breathing by the time that the ambulance had arrived..."

Hanson's eyes shifted slightly as he remained silent for quite a long time.

Howard turned to look at him. "This... we have to inform Wendy about this. Ryan is her biological brother after all."

After he had considered about it for quite some time, Hanson walked out of his room and went downstairs.
